Definitely a place I take folks to that have not had Vietnamese food before. The Canh Chua is excellent (Viet sour soup) and beef entrees. Quality of food and authenticity is solid but a bit more nice ambiance than most Vietnamese places. I like taking out of town guests and coworkers here.

My husband and I love this restaurant. We've been going there with our kids for many occasions. Our favorites: fresh rolls, fried egg rolls, shrimp cake, catfish soup, and the grilled catfish with a dipping sauce, etc. This restaurant gets really busy if you don't get there when it opens its door for business. The service is really good. The... More

Fresh, abundant, authentic food, not limited to pho. Try the crispy shrimp cupcakes and the superior salads, such as the lotus root salad. There are large vegetarian and seafood menus. For dinner, be sure to make reservations, or you may have problems. Right in downtown, the parking is a big plus.

Great lemongrass and fresh basil but it wasn't pho. Not their fault, but that's what I was looking for on a cold, rainy day. Nice interior and good service.

A colleague took me to this restaurant for lunch as she claimed that the portions served for the lunch specials were enough for leftovers. The colleague was correct as the portions were big. The food was good, and inexpensive considering the large portions served & high quality of dishes. The staff is friendly & professional. There is free parking.

We live in the neighborhood and for way too long missed out on this place. It looks small from the outside, with limited parking, but that's deceiving. There is a parking lot in the back, and on street parking nearby. But enough about access -- let's talk food. SOOOOOOOO very good! The traditional Vietnamese noodle soups are highly recommended, and... More

I came to this place twice and that is it! The first experience was wonderful, the food was better than average; however, the service of my first visit was wonderful. Out waiter was very friendly and seemed to be happy to have us and to serve us. My second visit was a total contrast. My water glass was dirty with... More

I was walking home from work and decided to stop by for an impromptu dinner. The service was just exceptional. I had the Caramelized chicken and found the chicken a bit too sweet. Had a glass of Pinot noir, and it was a bit too pricy for $10 a glass. Service was just exceptional!

We have been coming to Vung Tau since the 90s. It never disappoints. Clay pot fish, tamarind shrimp, catfish with veggie broth, bamboo shoots with shrimp, spring rolls, egg rolls.. and more. Excellent. And going on Thanksgiving day guarantees a crowd -- and the staff handled the numbers with aplomb, and the kitchen was remarkable. If it is pho that... More

So many wonderful dishes, and fast and friendly service. The grilled onion beef rolls are my favorite, but they have everything to choose from, including chicken, pork, and vegetarian versions of just about everything on the menu. Anything with the lemongrass sauce is fabulous...it's so fresh and tangy. The noodle soups are perfect for warming you up when it's cold... More
