Tired of Buckystars? This place makes great coffee and has some fabulous specials. I am totally hooked on the spicy mocha. Either hot or cold depending on the day. Either way, that little kick is a perfect spark to the day! And the outdoor seating although on the street, just has a nice feel for people watching. They have also... More

I stayed in the area and walked over to get my daily coffee fix. There was a line so I took that as a good sign. The staff was super friendly! The cold brew is great and the ham & cheese croissant is DELICIOUS. Worth a trip for sure!

LOVE this coffee shop. The iced coffee is better than anywhere else. But what's best is what a neighborhood gem this is. The service is always fabulous and friendly. The cafe food is fresh and delish. The outside seating is so relaxing ... nothing better than walking down there on Sunday morning for a coffee outside before hitting the Japantown... More

Converted from an old service station, this corner coffee shop is the hub of the Japantown community.

I have been here only a couple times. The service and food items as well as the beverages are good. I would definitely recommend this place for friends or small groups to meet.

I knocked on the bathroom door even though the sign said"that if the door was locked it is currently being used." The manager was in the bathroom and when she came out she told me that I should read the sign. I explained that in a previous coffee shop they had the same sign and we waited for an extended... Unspoiled by the commercialism of large chains, Roy's Station is a refreshing place to have a quiet beverage and snack or meet a small group of friends. There are a sufficient number of outdoor tables with umbrellas, dogs are welcome and frequent. Toddlers are often present playing with the stock of toys made available exclusively for their use. Individuals working... More

Great local pastries including spam misubi, lemon loaf, baked pork buns, tiramisu. Baked goods $1 after 5pm. I like the Thai tea which is very authentic tasting. Coffees are good, supplier is Verve. Family owned business. Hours can vary, they will put away outdoor chairs an hour before closing time, which is a bummer.

Roy's is the kind of coffee shop that every neighborhood wants...it serves quality drinks and snacks, has lots of outdoor seating, and the location (a tastefully re-vamped gas/service station) offers lots of character. Roy's serves Verve coffee (really good stuff out of Santa Cruz). My favorite snack is the ham and swiss bun. I'm also a fan of their spicy... More
