This place is pretty much the holy grail when it comes to cheese steaks in the Bay area. This place is easily as good as most east coast joints. The shorty (7") is more than enough for most appetites, as they are well filled with lots of meat and cheese. They actually have a 24" sub on the menu, which... More

The go-to for a really good steak sandwich when you're on the West side near Saratoga and now on the deep South side on Curtner. They don't need to be in the 'Plant' site on Tully but it'd get them noticed more. I'm an ex-NYer so breads important to me. They do it pretty well and they stuff it with... More

Food was good but need more cheese and condiments. Onion rings were good but could have offered ranch or sauce. Served Pepsi products which was great and food was good size plenty of food. Quick and was clean inside. Would love to see allegiance to local football college team. Go Spartans!

I've had Philly steak in Philly and this by far is the best west coast version of an east coast favorite. The portions are huge and and a half can feed 3 people. The fries are crunchy on the outside and fluffy. An order of fries is big enough for 3 people as well. Try the mushroom pepper and cheese... More

We ordered a half of a cheesesteak and an order of fries and split it three ways and still had leftovers.

I made the trek to San Jose just to eat this delicious cheese steak, and I was more than happy with it! It was so good I forgot to take a picture before eating it all. Great value and amazing cheesesteak!

I can't tell you what to get on your cheesesteak only that you need to get one now. The meat is piled high, the cheese is flowing and the fries can feed an entire group (or one teenager)

I have finally found a Philly cheesesteak place that is worthy of my time. Finding an authentic restaurant that makes cheesesteaks like they do in Philadelphia is no easy task. Amatos is the exception and of course the family is from the Philly area!! I found this place just by chance as I drove by on my way to a... More

Plenty of really good choices of hot and cold sandwiches. My 7" Italian Hogie was really good and more filling than most other sandwich shop 12" sandwiches.

My husband has been telling me he is going to take me here for a while. While going to our get away we stopped off for lunch. There is a tight fit to sit in but it is part of the charm of the place. Once you eat it is so worth it. I got a Shorty and I could... More
