Despite it being frequented by younger 20-somethings, I really have liked this place since it first opened. Great variety of beers and a cool outside patio area that I like a lot. When in downtown, I usually come here unless I'm specifically looking for a cocktail.

Had dinner here before a Sharks game. Service was good but the food was just ok. I had a Caesar salad and added salmon to it. The salmon didn't have much flavor. My husband had the brisket sandwich and said it was pretty good. My 11 yr old had a cheeseburger with side salad and my 8 yr old (she... More

This is a typical sports bar. Service was slow, place felt dirty and food was not good. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Try going somewhere else.

First visit a while back was on an event night (SJ Sharks game) when menu is limited and crowds are crazy. Went back mid-week to give it a try again. Lots of high top tables and TV's so a great place to watch a game. They also have regular tables outside in a courtyard if you want to get away... More

It's a typical American sports bar. It attracted young and old looking for food and drinks. We ate there and ordered burgers which were excellent. Good choice of beers. Surprised at how busy it was on a mid week night.

Came here after I read a review about the wings and that was by far the best part. The wings were really good and the maple bbq sauce is really unique. But that was about it otherwise its a bar that serves big beers in an old building. Oh an there is no AC so keep that in mind if... More

We planned on eating at Firehouse #1, from the TripAdvisor reviews. However, we got there around 3:00pm, and found out that they would not be serving food until 4:30. We ended up going next door to the Old Wagon Wheel Saloon and were glad we did! The food was great!! We ordered a cheeseburger and a pulled pork sandwich. Both... More

Went here to watch the superbowl when our tickets fell through at the last minute. + nachos + wings + atmosphere + clean bathrooms + location - service (although to be fair it was crazy busy for the Super Bowl) - calamari
