I've eaten here a few times, and I much prefer sitting at the bar and taking what I want from the sushi boats as they pass by. Very, very good!! Always a pleasure.

Another "Japanes" restaurant. Nothing special, for good and for bad. Service is not consistent, some waiters pay attention and some don't. Food quality fluctuates between OK to not so good. We were 7 and the general perception was that we will not consider it in the future.

The bento boxes are delicious with a 3 varieties in addition to salad and rice. Good serving size for the price of the entrees. Service a bit slow especially when it gets busy at dinner time. Been there a couple of times, will probably return to try other sushi and other entrees.

Visit south San Jose annually. Sushi Boat is a staple for business lunches. Lunch starts with hot tea and nide bowl of miso soup. I had the beef teriyaki for main course. It's a good place for lunch with colleagues.

Unfortunately for me I have never gotten good customer service. I have been there approx. 5 times in the past 6 months. Waitresses usually forget about extra bowls/plates for kids, I have arthritic hands and they forget to bring me a fork. I usually have to ask more then once. The food is very tasty. But I go to this... More

Sushi Boat Town is our "Go To" Restaurant. The sushi is always fresh and presented beautifully. G-Man, Mike and Roy create tasty rolls and are very attentive. We live locally but would go out of our way for this restaurant.

Above average Japanese Restaurant but the service was a "10". The Mizo soup was luke warm and the beer was not cold. The excellent service makes up for the few flukes of the meal

Coming from Seattle, we're sushi snobs! This place was excellent! We sat down at the sushi bar and were amused with the boats floating by conveyor belt style. We grabbed a couple and they were great! We ordedered off the sushi menu and it was fabulous! The staff was attentive, friendly, and really let us know they wanted us to... More
