My entire family frequently visits Oshima. Great sushi, teriyaki and more. We are always served quickly and the food is fresh. Highly recommend!

I'm one for atmosphere, and certainly vouch for the sushi rolls quality, so this review is for both. Coming in as a group of 4 friends, the bar area looked very tempting in terms of atmosphere, cool bar, semi-circular booths, so we asked to be seated there. Pretty soon however, it was clear to us, that with the music/noise level... More
The food is delicious and atmosphere is fun. Great for families and also has a bar/lounge for just the adults. I had the 'burn it up' roll which was quite yummy. My husband had the bento box (lots of food). They have a small bento box during happy hour if that's to much food for you. The prices are reasonable.... More
I'm a regular for lunch, and for carry out after work - in the last 6 months the food has been reliably prepared, and service when I'm there is quick and accurate. Guzzetta Roll and Dragon Roll are standouts -- and the sashimi is fresh and generously cut. The small green salad is basic but the dressing is a favorite... More
We had the Chicken Teriyaki Box, the Veggie Tempura, and the Wild Goose roll. This was a lot of food for two. The tempura is spot on, crispy and light. The rolls here are always good, and we look for the ones with a little heat in them. Of the box meals, the chicken teriyaki is our favorite. Good portions,... More
Last night I joined two other friends for drinks and dinner before seeing a show at The Music Circus. When I asked to see a wine list the bartender said he just had a white Zinfandel and an old bottle of BV Chardonnay with a half glass left. I thought he was joking considering Napa Valley is only an hour... More
Had sushi here with a couple other people. The service was slow, but polite. The calimari tempura we ordered turned out to be half chicken pieces and half calimari. The wakame salad was good. The rainbow roll was adequate, but the spider roll was soggy. The shrimp tempura was good. It was not the worst sushi I've had by far,... More
We went the other night with a group of friends for a celebration. We had a nice table that comfortably fit all of us (8), and we took advantage of the great happy hour menu and prices to order drinks, beer, bento box dinners and some really good maki rolls. The Cinco de Mayo roll, and the Dynamite Roll, were... More
I've been to this place about two times. The bar is very attractive and new age like, the clientèle seem to be a diverse group. The sushi is quite good. This place can be pricey but so are even average places in Natomas. I would say this place has atmosphere and a good place to take a date.
One word. TERRIBLE... Waitresses' forget to take your order and the bartenders are rude and obnoxious, when it becomes busy.. The food has become overpriced and not worth my money.. Especially when the order comes out wrong and they still expect you to pay for their mistake... Its time to go back to class and style and eat at FATS... More
