An institution famous for its turkey legs, HH is popular with folks who want an informal eatery with large portions for a reasonable cost. It is not for dates!

Although the food is good, I hate standing in a cafeteria line. The servers can't hear what you are saying and they don't really care. I feel the food is expensive for what you get. Portions are big but I would rather pay a little less and get less food.

This is Hofbrau at its finest. Great wine and beer selections and Pat, the bartender offered a sample of two beers to help me decide. The food offering presents a bit of a challenge, as there are so many choices. The servers behind the counter are friendly. I enjoyed the spaghetti and meatballs while other had Turkey a la King,... I had not been there in a long time and went for lunch with a friend. Food is typical 'hoffbrau' faire; hot and cold sandwiches. The decor and atmosphere are pretty lacking. Many people are regulars and really like the place, not sure when I would visit again.

One of the best in area. Senior discount. Lots of food for the price. Easy parking. Nice people. Turkey & roast beef always good.

This is the most well known place to eat in Redwood City. It's been a staple of hungry dinners since the 1950's and is still going strong. The broad selection of specials attracts a crowd for lunch and dinner. My favorite.

I've gone to 3 different locations of Harry's Hofbrau & I can honestly say that each location served such fresh, traditional foods that I was not disappointed in any way! The employees are always polite, friendly & helpful. I love the fact that there was a full bar at each location I went to from San Jose to Redwood City,... More

Harry's has been around for years and it seems everyone has gone there. They offer good, basic food in a no frills atmosphere. The service is cafeteria style; grab a tray and make your selections. Seating is comfortable. Their basic carved-in-front-of-you meat dinners (corned beef, turkey, roast beef) and sandwiches are supplemented by daily specials. Plus there is a selection... More

Pricy and low value. Left still hungry. I was in little disappointed as was my friend. My friend ordered pork ribs and was disappointed because the were not baby back ribs. They were tough. I basically wanted roast beef but was served the higher priced sliced beef with a scoop of gravy.

I've seen this place here for over twenty years but this is the fist time eating here. The place is very large and can handle a lot of people and you never feel crowded. Cafeteria style high quality soups, sandwiches, and salads and everything was very fresh and tasty. I had a tri tip plate and the meat was tender... More
