My granddaughter and I stopped by this cute food-to-go sandwich shop on Hartnell Avenue in Redding. We ordered two gyros, which are the Greek Sandwiches. They were quite filled up with meats and cheeses and we could have split one. They also serve soups. They have a small seating area out front and on the side of the facility. A... More

The STAR of this little shack is the Fresh HUMMUS, homemade, creamy, rich, delicious. The falafel pita & lamb (actually 70% lamb, 30% beef) pita was tasty, tender & juicy. The salad was good with fabulous olives & tangy vinegrette. The spanicopita was disappointing though, no discernible cheese with the drab spinach filling & no butter between the filo leaves... More

My wife and I stopped for lunch at the Greek Shack. The young lady was so excited to see us and wait on us----her smile was captivating! I had the lamb Gyro--it was great---we were able to sit on the street and enjoy the outdoors while eating our wonderful Greek Food!

I tend to like to find local restaurants and support local business providing the food is good. This little place is one of them!

Met a friend here for lunch today and got the Greek Salad. The salad itself is awesome but when you add Lamb and Tzatziki sauce and it takes the salad to whole new world.

Just off I-5 on Hartnel and Churn Creek find the home of a tiny blue shack with bamboo hut ceiling and irrigation mist to cool you off while taking a break on a hot drive. Within 10 mins you can enjoy a tasty, fresh and succulent lamb gyro, great tsaziki and hummus! Enjoy!

I had... More

It was good, but not very greek. Very salty. For the area a nice touch but by no means don't go there thinking you are getting greek food.

We found this place by the Smurf blue paint job..We really enjoyed the the lamb gyro combos..Thick, chunky and generous portions of lamb meat....It took a long time for our order as they make it all from scratch..And there was no one else here at the time. We weren't real keen with the Tabouli salad as I was expecting more... More

Heard about this place from a friend. I'm a local so decided to stop by for a quick lunch. You order outside, and there are 5-6 tables for patio seating, no indoor seating. The food came out quickly, maybe a 5 minute wait, so this is perfect for lunch breaks! There were a steady stream of customers coming in for... More
