Service is wonderful. The food is a little expensive but worth it. I like the outside atmosphere on a nice cool day.

We stopped for the night in Redding and chose this place because it looked pleasant and had a patio, which we sat on...for someone from Seattle, eating outside in October is a treat! We just had salads, the chicken Caesar and the Cobb, but they...More

While traveling and following AAA recommendation, we happened upon C. R. Gibbs. It was Happy Hour, and the place was lively. Our waitress was stellar - very friendly and efficient. Recommended a newly released Eel River barley wine - tremendous enough that I sought out...More

Nice large dining room and large outdoor patio. The happy hour wine house wine is only $4.00. It was really good and a generous pour. We split a wild mushroom pizza which is plenty for two people. The service was good as well. Overall a...More

Used to be the best place to eat and get together with friends. This last stop wasn't any where near the service expectation nor food expectation I had. I wish it would be managed better and the staff had a better sense of urgency to...More

Dined here on way home from fishing Lake Shasta. Weather had cooled down so we chose patio seating. We had great table service and enjoyed a couple local brews and appetizers.

Great Moscow mules for $6. We ordered the steakhouse salad off the regular menu and it was one of the best meals ever, with perfectly cooked steak, and sautéed mushrooms as well as blue cheese and red onions.

Do the obligatory you peel 'em shrimp with the meal. I had a chicken fried beef short rib special for breakfast. It was tender as only a slow cooked rib can be, washed down with a bloody. Life is good.
