Staff very good and helpful. Potions are enormous but a "smaller appetite" menu still gives generous portions

Greeted with a smile and immediately seated. Generous portions and good tasting food. The eggs were a little undercooked but not bad. The atmosphere is very comfortable and a pleasure to visit. Good value in my book.

Ate there twice in a row Had a fairly expensive Mexican style breakfast. They gave me one tortilla. I asked for another- charged me $3 for a tortilla Next visit. Breakfast. Asked for a small bowl of gravy. When I got my bill, another $3 charge. As expensive as their food is they should not charge you for "incidentals". What... More

Nothing bad with the food, absolutely huge portions and pretty quick service. Surprisingly cheap for the quantity of food given.

Seems to be a typical all Americans family restaurant chain. Huge portions were served - no idea who can eat that much. The atmosphere was relaxed and the staff was friendly. Good food.

My kids and I stopped in for a late dinner. The service was great, food cooked to order, and a very wide variety of dishes on the menu. Large size servings. I would recommend it for the family, business meeting, or just you and your spouse. Beer and wine available and so is a kid's menu. The New England style... More

I went here on the recommendation of the hotel clerk and am glad to say he was spot on with his praise for the place. It looks great both outside and in, with a clear 'bear' theme and a homely atmosphere. I got chatting with my friendly and helpful waiter who made me feel welcome. I wanted some home cooking... Took my daughter for her birthday. Everything took a long time to get down. First we wait 5 minutes to be seated (not a weekend nor lunch hour). Then we got menu and water but it took the waiter around 15 minutes to take our order. We got our salads within minutes. The food came shortly after. But to get... More

This is one of my favorite Black Bear's in our area. The deserts are the best out of all the Black Bear's I have ate at. The food is always great also and very clean and friendly service.
