We have eaten there there three times and not been disappointed. Family friendly with good service. Wine and beer only.

This was only my second time in Point Reyes and the first time was many years ago and after eating at Osteria Stellina I can't wait to go back! This was truly a perfect meal. It started with a wonderful server (I didn't ask her name but our credit card receipt says Catlynn). She was very helpful in assisting in... More

We had a light lunch after hiking in the national seashore. Shared an excellent oyster mushroom pizza and a salad. There are a couple of good draft beers, but the they no longer have the excellent local cider they had last year.

The cod melted on your tongue because it was cooked perfectly. Good melding of flavors. The plates are arranged decoratively. Portions could be bigger. The noise level is high when busy.

Had a nice corner window spot, good service, and tasty food. We were early so got to do people watching which is interesting in The Station. Not much selection around here for other than bar food and this place definitely makes up for that shortcoming. Would come again next time on the PCH.

We came here during the week of our anniversary. What a great restaurant! We started out with oysters with champagne mignonette, which were just great. Nice and briny and big. Then the pureed butternut squash soup, likewise fantastic. Then the oyster mushroom pizza with sweet onions and truffle oil, and the flatiron steak with potato puree and spinach. We couldn't... This is one of the best, yes, best restaurants I've been to in many, many years. Oysters, shrimp cocktail were the absolute freshest, steak and salmon were perfectly cooked, pasta tasted made from scratch, cheese plate delicious, as was the flour less chocolate tort. I hated to stop eating even though I was stuffed. Service and atmosphere made this a... More

Since I dined at Osteria Stellina I have done nothing but anticipate going back and enjoying another superb meal. Best tomato sop I have ever had. Delicious meal, well presented: a meal where one savors every bite. All the food is locally sourced and I know of many of the farms which makes the experience heart-felt as well. The water... More

The food is wonderful, tastefully prepared with really good ingredients, and seasoned perfectly. So many American restaurants serve over-salted food. The Osteria Stellina is not one of them but rather has taken care to prepare its dishes with care. We sampled so many things all of them were excellent. The oysters were fresh; the pastas we sampled were all different,... More

We ended up at this little restaurant on our three year ANNIVERSARY and couldn't be more HAPPY about it!........ They use all locally sourced ingredients and it makes all the difference...... We got a nice bottle of Chardonnay (local Sonoma Coast, don't remember the name) and the Caprese Salad to share as an app....... Best Caprese ever (and I work... More

Description
Located in the picturesque West Marin town of Point Reyes Station, Osteria Stellina offers a delicious, intimate, farm-to-table dining experience. Known for our strictly local and seasonal cuisine, we strive to showcase the bounty of West Marin on every plate. Our ingredients are sourced from the surrounding regions many farmers, ranchers, and fisherman; each dish reads like a sophisticated blue plate special, comprised of what's close and plentiful on a given day. The result is a creative, clean, farm fresh menu we like to call "Point Reyes Italian". Osteria Stellina's daily lunch and dinner menus include house made pastas and bread, organic salads and soups, pizzas, sustainable meats and seafood, an array of satisfying desserts, and a carefully edited and affordable wine list featuring local vineyards and Italian favorites. Local beer is on tap and additional beers are available by the bottle. The restaurant's gracious dining room is ideal for diners of all ages and any occasion.
