Our first time to eat here. The menu has many interesting items as well as daily specials. We stopped here on our way home from SFO and often stop in Pleasanton. The service was friendly, the atmosphere was very nice and the restaurant was completely full. I ordered a dinner salad and skirt steak with risotto and grilled asparagus. My... More

We've been to this restaurant twice for special dinners involving wine pairing with local wine makers. The food is fabulous. Both times there were 4-5 courses including dessert and my husband and I were impressed with the flavors, presentation of the food and the pairing of the wines. It is a very pretty restaurant in a small strip shopping --... More

This place is Italian enough for me, here it is: The good: - Excellent service - food is good quality with local produce - good atmosphere - traditional pasta - home made The not so good: - menu is small, few options - some of the items in menu are not the same quality as the pasta Absolutely worth a... Five of us, who get together 4-5 times a year to celebrate each others birthdays, met here for dinner. One of the ladies had been here previously but I had not. Everyone enjoyed their entree ~ I had the Filo Wrapped Salmon and it was delicious. I'm always fearful of ordering salmon when out as I grill salmon a lot... More

Great service and super food. I had the lasagna which was served in a deconstructed way and was delicious. My companion had the daily special which in this case was a paprika crusted halibut over spicy spinach risotto that melted in your mouth. We had a lovely Sangiovese, and ended up happy and full!

This is a very pleasant Italian restaurant with some very nice dishes like the lamb and the fresh fish. The classic pastas are good but not great. The interior is very nice as well as the outside patio (on main street). Wine is very reasonable and good list. Worth a visit on a nice evening. Service is also very good.

We had a family get together in Pleasanton, a midpoint, at Forno Vecchio. 10 of us defended on the restaurant on a Tuesday lunch and had a nice lunch. At peak the place was half full. It is a large room. Service was attentive if a bit stretched, and the food was appreciated by all. The pasta special had tasteful... More

Stopped for lunch at Forno Vecchio after I was told the restaurant by the owner's son. We were not disappointed, sat outside, the service was excellent, the meal was delicious and the bread fresh. We had the lunch special which was chicken piccata, very tasty!!

A great find in Pleasanton. Staff excellent and the food was delicious. Great value for money. Nice touch from the owner to come to each table to introduce herself and ask about you're experience at her restaurant. We will be revisiting in the near future.

This is by far our favorite Pleasanton restaurant! Valentine's Day prix fixe menu did not disappoint ~ omg, wish I could eat there every night. The rack of lamb was perfect as was the bed of brussels sprouts in a sauce. And the dessert ~ gelato on butter cake. Wonderful!
