Tasty bar food with a high-class twist, inventive cocktails, creative glassware and dishes. A great way to avoid wine before a wine tasting week.

Easy walk from PR Inn, cozy bar, noisy but friendly. Super helpful waitress. One of the few places that builds a burger that distributes each flavor in each bite! Very satisfying!

My wife and I split a toasted cheese and tomato bisque between us which was really good. They have a great selection of beers and we had great service this time.

I have been here a few times before but we decided to stop for a quick lunch. They have recently remodeled and the place looks amazing. The weather surprised us too. Sunny blue sky so we sat on the front patio. We had excellent service. They even brought a large gas heater over when the sun dipped behind the gray... More

Standouts on our one visit were: the calamari (really great version), the onion rings (huge and good) and the burgers (ditto). The bar has a good range of craft brews which we happily imbibed. The main bar room is... More

On vacation driving through wine country because the PCH closed. Mid afternoon and most places higher rated on TA closed or limited menu. One such place recommended Pappy's as a place could serve us dunch/linner. Irish pub. Low expectations. Calamari app was sooo tender with the crispest panko crust. The short rib Wagyu burger was the best I've had in... More

Unexpected fabulous surprise. Wanted to eat at a different restaurant in town while traveling through. First choice was closed, second choice had a limited menu until 5. Stopped here based on reviews and WOW!! Calamari for app was the most tender I've had. Short rib jalapeño burger was juicy and tasty. Steak and shrooms stole the show, tender and sauce... More
