The Parkway is on point in every way as a fine dining establishment and has stood the test of time in Pasadena. It is a perfect spot for a special occasion/celebration...Or more often if one can afford it.

One of the better restaurants in this city of great restaurants. Excellent service and consistently good food. A great place for lunch or dinner.

I do like the Parkway Grill, it used to be the best restaurant in Pasadena. Last night, I was slightly alarmed, the food was plated well but the flavors were not what I remember. The foie was crunchy, the soup a bit salty, the pasta...More

I ordered a “ Aged Prime New York Steak “ I don’t think it was even a “select” piece of meat. Hard to cut and garner to chew. Very disappointing for $50.00 price. I won’t go back.

When I moved to So Cal in '85 I got a job at The Parkway Grill. In a matter of a few short months I was the daytime bartender. This place was fun, innovative and the food was delicious. Decades later, I took my wife...More

I got a bad stomachache right after leaving. Something was not cleaned or handled properly in the kitchen. The duck tasted very gamey; the fish was tasteless. It was a very disappointing experience and an expensive one. I will not go there again.

I have never had an average meal at this restaurant. It is always delicious. The staff is friendly and very accommodating to special requests for allergies. It is always a pleasant experience to dine at this restaurant.

First of all, I would like to commend our waitress, Colleen, for being so conscientious for my special needs. The $75 seafood tower which consisted of oysters (not sure what kind, but they were small), giant prawns (approximately 10' were meaty and delicious), King crab...More

Since 1984, Parkway Grill has specialized in a seasonal, market-driven approach to cooking that incorporates diverse influences and classic French technique. Demonstrating the ultimate commitment to fresh produce, the Parkway Grill planted its own organic vegetable and herb garden behind the restaurant. Tiki Salad, Brick-Oven Baked Cambozola Pear Flat Bread, and Whole Ginger Fried Catfish are long-time favorites. The design of the Parkway Grill is a study in casual sophistication, striking a perfect balance between elegance and rustic approachability. The brick walls are adorned with elegant paintings by Millard Sheets and mixologists prepare hand-crafted cocktails at the expansive bar, an original from 1920's Chicago. Parkway's award-winning wine cellar, comprised of upwards of three thousand bottles, includes a broad selection of wines served by the glass.
