This place reminds me of a European coffee shop in so many ways - from elegant cappuccino cups, to music, to decor, to close seating. Regardless of where you sit, make sure you're not having any serious conversations, as this place is perfect for listening to other people's conversations. Besides that, coffee is great; hazelnut cookies are amazing; service is... More

The manager named Carla working at this place is very rude!! Because a customer sat down to charge her laptop before going to the counter to order, Carla the manager went to the customers table and told the customer to leave because the customer hadn't order. The customer said she would order soon as there was a line with people... More

Tiny place so seating is scarce but it's super cute and they have a few outdoor tables. The coffee is amazing and I love that I can have my coffee in a real cup!

Best coffee I have had in Palo Alto! The owners purchase only Italian coffee beans and serve a variety of food items as well. This is a beautiful decorated shop with a very European feel. I live in Palo Alto and just tried it for the first time this week and I really have been missing out on a cups... More

We have lived here for decades and this is the best place - we come every weekend at least once and sometimes both Saturday and Sunday. The cappucini remind us of the wonderful cappucino we enjoyed in Australia before we moved to the US. Italian immigrants to Australia and New Zealand brought the gift there years ago and it is... Cafe Venetia without question makes the best espresso in Palo Alto, an in fact the best espresso I have had in the US. It is pulled quite short, the way truly great espresso is supposed to be, which makes it creamy and tasty with the right amount of acidity. It puts Blue Bottle to shame and other places don't even... This café at the Palo alto train station is just what is missing at every other train stations. The chicken panini is very good and the service is good too. The interior is dedicated to the old times when trains were magical and classy. Nice long polished wood benches, large planters with ornamental plants all lite to golden hues by... More

Always seems full. Seating outside in the sunshine out the front is good to watch the world go by. Nice selection of coffees and properly made. Not your typical American Chain coffee. Have small snacks and croissants and cakes. Has a sort of intellectual feel. Always hear lots of heated discussions from academic types. And lots of languages. Overall best... More

This is my go-to coffee shop in downtown Palo Alto. Energetic vibe. Great coffee. Delicious food. Drop by if you can. There is seating upstairs and outside as well.
