A return visit, this time for a late Valentine dinner. Boisterous, lively, excellent menu, both my clam linguine and my spouse's eggplant were delicious, and ample enough to bring home for the next night. Servers- Violet and Pablo- were quick, attentive and helpful. Why not a 5 rating? Noise, a bit overpriced, and the single glass of wine was pitifully... More

Wonderful Ossetia in downtown PA. Excellent, delicious, food and very authentic northern Italian. The pasta is made fresh daily and the service is great. It's a little noisy but that makes it more authentic and fun. Desserts are great too!

Cozy intimate setting. Wonderful food even compared to dining in Italy. Nice wine list. Courteous and attentive staff.

We went for an early dinner. Reservations were required. Place got packed later. We ordered some appetizers, main courses and wine. The food was very good. Prices were typical of Palo Alto - higher than East coast. The wait staff was very attentive. The atmosphere was cozy even with a packed house. I would recommend Osteria for a family group.

We had a wonderful dinner with pasta and lamb and excellent wine. Our waiter was quite attentive. I will certainly return next time I am in the area.

Always go here on our annual visits to Palo Alto-numerous excellent Italian dishes, plus seafood. Had Petrale sole. Service is fine, comfortable atmosphere.

This neighborhood classic has been a favorite for good and moderately priced Italian for years. Without a doubt, it has the BEST carpaccio in the WORLD...and I have tried carpaccio in Italy, France, Denmark, etc... None beats Osteria. Only limitation in this restaurant is the it is noisy.

One of my favourite restaurants. Great food, fast service, friendly and professional waiters. Good conversation with staff. Always a joy to dine here.

It's not bad, you know? Just not very original. The food is like, this is how the dishes at the Olive Garden taste before they flash-freeze them for distribution to the provinces. The noise level is to where you can't talk easily, on a Wednesday night at 7:30. Slow service. People nice enough though. I don't suppose I will be... More
