My food was hot, delicious and served quickly. I asked for a dish that was eggplant and many meats with sauce and cheese (can't remember the name). It came with rice, salad, and pita cut in triangles. I got complimentary green tea. Servers were really nice. I declined the 2nd tea because I already had drink water and Turkish coffee... More

Quite a rude and belligerent staff and owner(in particular). Tried them twice; will NEVER go back again. Very greasy and stale food.

I tried this place for lunch and i will say that i was little dissappointed with the quantity . Quality wise they are good. I took the chicken gyros wrap, it lacked little salt but addition of the spicy sauce got the kick back in. My friend order the veggie plate and it was really small as per price. My... More

Picked up a random place for lunch and decided to try a lamb kebab wrap on a whim. The taste was totally unexpected but great! A combination of crispy tortilla, sour cabbage and fresh but very nicely grilled lamb made this the best lunch of at least last 2 weeks. I advise eating it with some kind of plate -... More

Wanted to try something Mediterranean, so found this while taking a walk on the University Avenue in Palo Alto. The guys who take order and serve are real nice. I tried the chicken gyro plate and another person with me tried salmon. The preparation of the chicken gyro was good and the combination had a good taste, but the texture... More

My friend and I went here for Sunday lunch. He had the Falafel Plate and I had the Beef and Lamb Gyro. We both had the pink lemonade to drink it all down. We both enjoyed our lunch. The service was excellent and the outside seating was refreshing.

We stopoed by because we wanted to try the lentils soup. Once we were inside we decided to also try the lamb kebab dish and closed with a Turkish coffee and a nutella crépe. The service is great, the dishes great, and the location too!

Palo Alto, California is well known as the home of Stanford University. The downtown area, a charming place to spend an afternoon, is also a foodie’s paradise. There is a cornucopia of dining options with restaurants serving a wide selection of international cuisines. One of my new favorites is Café 220, a casual Mediterranean restaurant that serves authentic Turkish cuisine... More

I really enjoyed Cafe 220. It describes itself as 'Casual Mediterranean' and that sums it up very well. The place has casual atmosphere but with excellent service and great food. The place uses ingredients sourced from farmers' markets. The menu is very wide ranging (lots of Greek-style things) and they are very happy to do a vegetarian version of entrees.... More
