They only take cash, but go for the fish tacos - I request them grilled. Wide variety of other standard Mexican dishes.

I lived in Mexico for 2 years and am always disappointed when I eat at Mexican places in other countries. However, at Sancho's I was pleasantly surprised with amazing flavours, very much like in Mexico itself. I went there every night I was in Palo...More
Great locals stop for Mexican food. Must have chips with their fresh flavorful toppings. The fish tacos are not inexpensive but are stuffed with light battered fresh fish and zesty ingredients. A MUST !!! Try the house favorite chimichanga or tostada as well. Kids menu...More

It is nice place for lunch and clean Mexican food. I don't care for their deep fried dishes but others are good. You may need to wait in line around lunch time.

Sancho's is affordable and fast, two adjectives that describe very few establishments in Palo Alto. There are better burritos in the Bay Area but Sancho's is definitely up there. It's nice that they give you free chips and salsa with your order.
