January 10,2020. Have been to Tyler’s before and enjoyed their burgers and so went back. Ordered the “special” which was a sandwich of ham and cheese. Also, ordered a drink and fries ,all of which were excellent tasting! We negated to ask before we ordered what the cost was for the “special”! Shock at the $40.45 bill for the 2 meals.Had the waitress offered up the cost of the “special” or had we inquired we may not have ordered that particular item! So, just a word of warning, check first and enjoy!

Staff is a little sassy, in a good way, which makes this burger joint a fun time in the heart of downtown PSP. Food is great, non-meat eaters had their choices from the menu as well. Everything is good here at Tyler's except for the wait. Obviously a popular spot, I suggest arriving before 11:45 am to snatch your outdoor table for some great people watching. Do it!

The burgers here are made from fresh meat, and are decent in size. Nothing fancy here and a tad overpriced, but if your looking for a good burger, this is the place. Side items like fries are extra, as are burger toppings. It can get crowded at lunchtime. Service is pleasant, and pretty efficient. Seating is mostly outside, but a few inside seats at a counter. Go early, especially on Saturday during the high season. I believe they are closed on Sundays.

I always try to find a restaurant specializing in burgers wherever I travel. I was excited to try Tyler's in Palm Springs but was extremely disappointed to be told that I could not get a rare burger! I had to settle for medium-rare and was underwhelmed. I'm not sure the purpose of eating a burger unless its rare. I got a rare burger at Cheeky's so I know its not a California law. I fear its because they use frozen or precooked beef. I found Tyler's expensive for what I considered average food. That being said, the service was outstanding and the experience almost made up for the let-down about my burger.

Stopped in yesterday for a burger and fries. The cheeseburger was large but tasteless. Not juicy at all. Had to keep piling on Mayo to add some taste. Needed lots of salt. They are not using a high end meat. Fries were a small serving like McDonald’s. Hopeless! They allow one drink refill which you will need with their tasteless burger. The covered outdoor setting is fun and casual. Meal was $20. Go to Lulus instead. Won’t be back.

I have seen this place for many years. But getting in is another story. The restaurant is located near a number of places that I eat at on a regular basis. But Tylers is ALWAYS packed. So on Tuesday, I did the early morning architectural tour of south Palm Springs. That tour ended at 10:30 and Tylers opens at 111:00AM, so the timing was perfect. The menu is not exclusively “burgers” but pretty close. And what burgers they were. I had the cheeseburger with fries. They were perfect. The fries were thin, crispy and salty (but not too salty). The burger was juicy with lots of toppings (and I had them all). Worth the wait. But in case you cannot wait, there are a number of excellent restaurants within 100 yards of Tylers, which is why it has taken me so long to try them out. But luck was with me today and it was very tasty (the burger, not “luck”).

This is pretty much an all burger restaurant as the name implies. However, the variety of burgers was minimal, particularly the composition of the burger itself. The variety of toppings was okay, and the fries were very good. The service was a bit slow. The waitstaff were very nice and helpful. That said, I would not rush back. I’m sure there are better burger options in Palm Springs.

this is BY FAR the most delicious hamburger I've ever had. Thick juicy patty, hand formed, the bun is spongy and baked to perfection. I'd eat here several times a week if it was closer to me!

My second visit in two months. Last time my burger was so delicious I couldn’t wait to get back. This time we came after watching a minor league baseball game, which I highly recommend, and we were starving. We all ordered burgers, medium, all three came well done and dry. Yes, we should have sent them back, but we were starving! A place that specializes in burgers should be able to get in right. I will be back, I am sure my friends won’t. The fries are great!

We were walking by around noon on a Wednesday and saw lots of people waiting. Hmm. That’s usually a good sign, so the next day we went for lunch. Great decision! Luckily we didn’t have to wait, because there was a long line shortly after we sat down. Nice outdoor patio. Not a large menu but everything looked amazing. We got the burgers with cheese and fries that were hot, salty and so yummy. Service was friendly and so quick. Next time we want to try the potato salad and maybe the sandwiches. Will definitely come back next time we are in Palm Springs.

Awfully disappointing. We were informed our burgers would be vegan by a server. Upon arrival they were vegetarian. Our server apologised and said she would bring us salads instead. The owner then arrived, blamed us for not telling them we wanted vegan (although we did), and then did not comp the salads. The salads were average, insignificant, and far more expensive than our burger options. Our server asked the owner if she would reconsider comping our salads and she would not. Our servers were lovely! A sad affair all around!

Wonderful waitress but I regretted ordering the frisee salad, which was smallish for an entree salad. My friend loved his grilled ham and cheese sandwich and fries [large portions]. The patio area is rather shabby; misters do not alleviate the extreme Palm Springs June weather.

The combination of the bun, the burger, the sauce and accompaniments is perfect. It’s not a gigantic burger but by the same token you won’t feel “plowed” after you eat it. The only thing better would be if Tyler’s had a license to serve mixed drinks!

Visited NOVEMBER 17 – While some business are struggling and still working diligently to implement safety protocols and keep their customers safe, Tyler's appears to be going in the opposite direction. I'll just say this: the guy who cleans the tables (read "touches every single dirty dish hot off people's tables") is the same guy grabbing every single straw and putting them into everyone's drinks with his bare hands. Considering the current times, these people clearly do not care in the least about maintaining safety measures and are inviting a serious spike of COVID-19 in the desert, completely negating the work of other hardworking business who actually care about their customers.

I was disappointed after reading all of the reviews. The place was jamming so I did a take out order, planning to go to eat at the park. I asked for crispy fries and they were limp and soft. The burger although good flavor was dry and needed dressing of sorts. The coleslaw was okay but nothing fantastic. Overall, a major disappointment.
