The Sandwich Spot was a great little find. The owner was very welcoming and excited that we decided to stop in for a bite. We asked what he recommended for first timers...his suggestions were the special which was a Philly Cheesesteak as well as a few others (that escape my mind). We were set on the special. It was great! We love Philly Cheesesteak and I'll tell you, we were not disappointed! It was not dry...and full of great flavor. If you're looking for a great sandwich, this is a place you won't be disappointed! Great food and wonderful service!! Thank you Sandwich Spot for a great lunch experience!! Looking forward to our next lunch with you. And trust me we'll be back...there are a couple other sandwiches we are wanting to try. See you again soon!

We enjoyed two lunches here and learnt that two people can share one sandwich as the serving size is large. Fresh ingredients and really pleasant service are their hallmarks. In a hidden little alley across from the Hyatt with a nice little patio shaded from the sun.

After sitting at the large picnic bench awaiting my college friend I could not help but notice the fabulous sandwich creations at TSS (theSandwichSpot) and the service.
Once she arrived I firmly recommended we try TSS!
Very conversant and engaging. The service is fabulous. We had the honor to chat with the delightful owner who cares about this establishment and the type of food served. For this we are grateful. In a supporting role: MIchael is a great asset to the company and his customer care #winning

“This is the Real Deal” says hubby. I think they are flavor bombs and I’m not a sandwich fan. He loves a good sando and I’ll occasionally sacrifice a lunch for a visit to a sando spot and put a smile on my face for him.
I knew The Sandwich Spot wasn’t that kind of sando spot the second we walked in. I swear my mouth started watering (I was hungry) at the smell of the freshly baked bread. There’s a board listing the multitude of sandwich offerings and a small specials board. It’s hard to pick (as everything sounds good and those good smells mess with your decision making abilities a wee bit). We eventually settled on a Chairman of the Board on sourdough and a Federer on Dutch crunch. Kiddos split a Munk. Grabbed a side of Bomb Sauce.
These are HUGE, and are made to order with quality ingredients, and did I mention extremely substantial? Delicious, solid sandos. I rarely eat the bread, but ate most of this. Sourdough roll was good and Dutch crunch excellent. Sandos themselves were “the real deal” per hubby (BIG compliment... huge). They are really good - so good we’ll be back for another lunch this week (with me on board 100%, not just being nice). Oh, and mastering the bomb sauce will be on my post-vacation to-do list.

This place would be a huge hit in Chicago.... excellent combinations of fresh ingredients make huge and delicious sandwiches. The Rachet Club is my favorite, with turkey,ham on the Dutch crunch bread.... outstanding and too big for me. The French Open was great with chicken breast and bbq sauce and the veggie sandwich a huge hit also. Value is great at under 9 bucks per sandwich! We’ll likely return a few more times!

Delicious and generous sandwiches- exactly what we wanted! We ordered the meatball sub as well as the #10 Vegetarian and added chicken. Both were fantastic and so generous we only at half of each. I was a bit startled that two sandwiches and two bags of chips cost $32 but the prices all over PSP seem a bit high to this Chicago gal. Food was wonderful!

Great sandwiches at a reasonable cost and in the middle of the downtown core. We were looking for sandwiches that we could take out and eat picnic style on one of our hikes in the canyons. the Sandwich Spot’s subs were perfect for that. We tried them on our visit (Turkey cheese and avocado for wife and meatball for me) and were not disappointed. Their menu is excellent in choices - entertaining even (won’t spoil the surprise but see for yourself)!!! 😉

It was lunchtime and we had just finished hiking Indian Canyon, so we were in need of some serous nourishment. When we researched a place to get a good sandwich, this hidden gem popped up. Unlike other delis, which were packed, the Sandwich Spot took our order and delivered it within 5 minutes. It is noteworthy how proud of the shop the person was who took our order. The sandwiches themselves were big and as tasty as promised. We sat safely spaced outside at the picnic tables. Highly recommended.

Every time we go to Palm Springs, we head over to the Sandwich Spot for lunch and we're always happy that we do. They have great sandwiches at a very fair price and good, friendly service. They recently moved to a place on the other side of the parking lot, but they are still accessible from N Palm Canyon Dr. Not a fancy place, just great sandwiches.

We ate lunch at The Sandwich Spot on our drive into Palm Springs. I had scouted it out beforehand so we wouldn't waste time. We parked on the street nearby and walked -- it's up an alley, so not that obvious from the street.
We ordered 'The Dreamkiller' on a French Roll with pepper jack, provolone, everything, no pickles, no peppers. We sat in their outdoor courtyard and shared it between two of us with a bag of chips. It was a great sandwich and hit the spot.
Price was $15.42 for one sandwich and a bag of chips, including tax. (Jan '22)
Staff were pleasant and swift. Restroom available for patrons.

We stopped in downtown Palm Springs to pick up some lunch to take back to the patio at our hotel. We came across The Sandwich Spot, tucked away in a little courtyard off the main street. There are 24 Signature Sandwiches and a few more basic sandwiches to pick from! We got 2 lovely big sandwiches to go - mine The Royal Hawaiian with teriyaki chicken, pineapple, jack cheese and peppers, my husband’s The Copacabana with pastrami and cheese. You get to choose your own kind of bread. The sandwiches were huge and delicious, but I could only eat half.

Loved everything about this place. The sandwiches are HUGE - easily could be split by 2 people. The ingredients are high quality. But the real star is the bread - wow. Don’t sleep on that Dutch Crunch roll. I’m going to be thinking about these sandwiches for a long time.

If you’d like a well made, generous sized, sandwich with top notch ingredients and nice combinations of flavors, this place is tops. Been a fan for a couple years now and it’s consistently great and fresh.
The grand slam was the best this time, followed closely by the Djokovic.... the Dutch Crunch roll makes it even better! Definitely will return....

I had the pesto chicken special with avocado on sourdough. The bread choices are varied and there is a wide selection of yummy options. Brought my elderly parents. My mom enjoyed the vegetarian sandwich and my dad just had a traditional ham sandwich. Their mobility is not good so I ordered the sandwiches and delivered them to them. We enjoyed them near the museum of art in Palm Springs it was a nice day for a picnic in the area.

We had a nice sandwich for lunch at this little sandwich shop which was a little hidden from Palm Canyon Drive in the back of Henry Frank Arcade off the street. The sandwiches were very good and there was a nice selection of meats and sauces. All made to order and service with a smile. Very comfortable cafe setting and nice people.
