On a beautiful day in Palm springs we needed a break for lunch. While walking downtown we spotted this inviting place. Very good food and atmosphere added to the experience.

This place is right on the strip with a good menu. We had the restaurant week menu which was extremely good. However our server was miserable and disinterested. The next table was served by a guy named Arron and the contrast was startling. Hence, we...More

Eat outdoors and see all the people walking on the main street. Service is fantastic and the Fried Chicken is their speciality. Great with large groups and a real Palm Springs feel.

Fried chicken was not crispy, kind of soggy breaking. Very small filet mignon. Hanger steak was just average quality beef and had too much sauce. Appetizer calamari also just average. The most delicious part of the meal was the warm bread.

Nothing was remarkably good, but no complains. It is a great location in downtown, good combination of an open space to the street with a cozy atmosphere.

I've been a big fan and eat here whenever we vacation in PS (just once or twice a year). Tonight's food was good or great. My "issue" was with service. Hostess would not take a booking as she had a big party coming in. OK....More
