I use OpenTable to book all of our reservations. So when I booked a reservation at Mitch's I expected it to be honored!! Even though we checked in when we arrived, they canceled the reservation while we were there! To make it worse, the food was nothing to write home about!! As a food/wine reviewer, I will not go back... More

Hi Mary Ann - Unfortunately, we don't except Open Table reservations for happy hour which is in our bar area only and only for lunch and dinner. Since you were dining with us for happy hour we went ahead and removed the reservation for a regular table for those guests that would be dining with us for dinner. The bar... More

Sitting outside makes the experience so much better than Pacifica, their nearest seafood competitor. Their sushi is excellent! So was the grilled salmon! If you are a chocolate, you MUST try the chocolate balloon cake!! It is truly decadent!!! Our server was fantastic! Overall, a wonderful experience. Our third time there and the best one yet.

We came here with a large group and sat outside despite the somewhat chilly temperatures. Our server was wonderful ("Summer") and the food fresh and inventive. The Dover Sole ($44) was a bid boring, but the Sea bass ($45) and Pacific Sea bass ($32) were both very good, as was the Duck. ($34). The salads are extra and run around... More

Having read the reviews on Open Table and TripAdvisor we had high hopes of finally finding a great sushi restaurant in the desert. The restaurant itself is huge and well decorated. We were not met at the front door and wandered through to the outside area where a hostess finally greeted us. We sat outside and the outdoor eating area... More

Enjoyed a dinner with two business colleagues. The food was good, better than average but not outstanding, the service was very good - professional and attentive. My only real knock is the atmosphere - it is very modern/trendy and somewhat noisy and hectic; this is a matter of personal preference for me, and someone who likes that more bustling trendy... This was the first time we have been there as there are not too many seafood places in Palm Springs. I found it to be a nice place to have dinner with excellent service and a great outdoor dinning atmosphere. The food was good, but not special. Just a great place to go and enjoy the evening. Great go to... More

We went to Mitch's on the advice of the concierge at our hotel and we were not disappointed! It's a little on the expensive side but the atmosphere, food and drinks were worth it. I had shrimp and scallops that were the best I have ever had, my husband had the lobster, and our daughter had sushi, which both said... More

This was our first time to this restaurant and we were pleasantly surprised. It is a large open restaurant with an interesting decor and bar. There is a large outdoor space with a fire pit and plenty of seating. The staff is friendly and accommodating. We decided to dine indoors and I ordered the seafood linguine which was delicious and... This lively restaurant serves excellent food in a very nice setting. Seated outside, we found the service to be attentive and professional, and all dishes were beautifully prepared. The shrimp and scallop risotto was outstanding. Salads were also very good and generous. Dining here is relaxed and very satisfying. I hope to return soon!

Our family of three stepped into Mitch's mid-afternoon for a late lunch. The restaurant is big and it has lots of natural light pouring in. A wall of glass patio doors lead to a beautiful walled garden for outside dining. The staff was warm and welcoming, especially our waiter Chris. Chris mentioned the seafood arrives daily, ensuring each dish is... More
