Came here for breakfast. They weren't that busy but were really understaffed. Took forever to be seated, 20-30 min for waiter to come by and ask about coffee. Even longer for food order and for food to arrive. We were starved and the food was pretty good. The service, however, was pretty underwhelming. I felt bad for the staff since... More

I took my friend for lunch just the other day and it was very good. I had the Rueben which was very tasty and my friend had the calamari sandwich. When we said, wow, Good sandwich! I was surprised because he volunteered this instead of being asked. The waitress was friendly and made decaf iced coffees for us which were... More

While in the Monterey area for a business meeting, I stopped in to the point pinos grill for a bite to eat. Their Happy Hour, 4-6pm has a great selection of Beer. The Happy Hour bites are good as well.

Food was prepared well, but there was only one waitress and she was stressed due to being too many tables to handle. She forgot to put down a table cloth for us, but it was no big deal.View of the golf course was just average.

We enjoyed a 95 birthday celebration of a dear friend at the Grill. Our expectations on the food were by far exceeded. We had a Sunday Brunch meal with two cooks for custom omelets. The bacon is superior. We had a great staff to serve us. I highly recommend Point Pinos Grill for such a meal.

It's a nice warm restaurant attached to the golf course. Ample patio or inside seating. The fish & chips was yums, even though my last piece of fish was a li'l under done. The cole slaw was tasty, but I didn't fancy the watery mayo filling part of my plate. The beer & wines are at a great price and... More

if you are golfing, you don't want to wait 20 plus minutes to get food. I was surprised that there weren't ready made sandwiches to go with chips and a drink. I ordered from the grill. The tuna melt was phenomenal as was the crispy chicken sandwich. if you have the time, then sit down in the restaurant area but... More

Beautiful views from most of the windows. Attentive waiter, always ready with a coffee warmup. I had the traditional Eggs Benedict with Canadian bacon and Hollandaise sauce. Well-made and very tasty. The home fries went along well with them. My mother had biscuits and gravy with a side of link sausages. The gravy was made from scratch and the biscuits... More

Server was friendly, menu is ok, food is decent, but it took over 45 minutes to get our appetizers and 1.5 hours before we got our lunch. The servers (the two we had) were friendly and apologetic.
