If I had to list my top 3 burger joints on the planet, Hook Burger would be in that list. Anytime I think I want a "good" burger, this place always comes to mind. I discovered while I was in Oxnard last summer, and I can't tell you how sad I was when I finished my Pretzel Burger. Yes, I... More
Hook Burgers are in the same restaurant family as The Habit, which is another great place. Hook has beer and wine (no happy hour), but prices are very reasonable still. We usually share a burger and a salad, and were more than satisfied when we left. The patio outside is great because we can bring the canines and eat there.... More
Nice surroundings in a relatively new building. You order from the counter and then the food and drink are brought to your table. Good quality meat with lots of fries (enough for two). Service is pretty quick.
What a fresh delicious burger. We had the California burger, the avocado on top the meat everything was perfect. I loved the sweet potato fries. And the prices are unbelievable! I am happy that they have a location closer to me. This beats all those Sheeshee burger places by far. Loved it!
Portions are very good sized, and the place is nice enough for a "date night.". Nice local brews on tap, and I saw a nice selection of wine. We went for lunch, so we opted for sodas. Outdoor dining allows for pets. Service was outstanding. I can't wait for one to open closer to home!

The patty is seasoned well and has a bold beefy, meaty taste. It has the perfect amount of BBQ... More
Steakhouse quality burger at just above chain restaurant prices with craft beer selections. I'd choose this place over any fast-food and most chains (Ruby's, Appleby's, Red Robin, etc).
