I tried La Dolce Vita for lunch. Located in a 100-year old historic home in downtown Oxnard, the food was tasty and the service friendly and helpful.

Stopped in for a special celebration evening dinner. We were greeted promptly and seated in the first dining room. What a beautiful place. This old Victorian home was built in 1900. The entire Heritage Square is so beautiful. Our server was so friendly. Forgot his name but he had a great Rhode Island accent. He was great and made our... More

We were visiting Heritage Square and some of the local places and saw this hundred-year old house, and decided to try it for lunch. In our group the people tried the soup, chicken piccata and they Cuban sandwich. We were all VERY pleased with the food, and the service was excellent. I look forward to going back.

Only good thing was the service. The food was one of the worst all four of us experienced. My wife and our friends had the chicken Marsala and piccata. Not only was it tasteless but the chicken was tough. I had the lasagna and I must say it was one of the worst I have tasted. Dry pasta, tasteless ragu... More

Their happy hour is so limited , literally only three beers! They had no one in their place , most people were just coming to use their bathroom! They Ahoul do half off all beer during happy hour, that's how most of downtown San Diego does it and they have higher rents and expenses! This place needs to step it... More

Hubby and I went for a group presentation and dinner was served. I had chicken piccata, pasta, and veggies. It was delicious! I would definitely order it again. My husband had beef bolgonese and he said it was pretty average, but ok. One of the other people we were sitting with said he thought it was really a bad choice.... More

My wife and I stopped in just before they were open for dinner but they welcomed us in without issue! We had been traveling and wanted to stop on our way to Santa Barbara. The Caprese salad was very good! My wife and I then split the "belly burger" which was also tasty. In a very nice area, we would... More

Got together with a group of ladies and had a very nice lunch. This restaurant is in a very unique setting. It it right in the center of Heritage Square which is a unique collection of vintage homes. On any given day, you might see some type of activity going on. I have been to the square many times but... More
