I stopped in here to have a quick lunch before heading home. I had the barbecue chicken sandwich and fries and they were both tasty. Older restaurant, but the food was fine, and the waitress was nice.

An easy stop from LA to Mammoth. They are used to people wanting to get back on the road. But at 11:30 AM you still need to order lunch. They were very nice about it. The waitress explained the grill is small and my pancakes would taste like the tuna melt grilling next to it. Makes sense.

Most people seem to stop here on their way to Death Valley but we had just been there and were on our way across to Bakersfield on our way up to Yosemite (via the Fall/Winter Route via Bakersfield & Fresno when Tioga Pass is closed) and the Ranch House Cafe was in the perfect location to stop for dinner after... We had been driving all day and hadn't had a decent bite to eat for a long time so we stopped here. The decor was like something out of an old movie but it still looked clean. The service was wonderful and we had a great chat with the waitress who was very helpful. Good food at a good price.

Good breakfast so you will last until you find lunch in Furnance Creek inside death valley national park.

Everyone really enjoyed their food here and they were very friendly considering our noisy messy kids. I had the blue cheese burger which I'm craving as I write about! However probably the loveliest part about our stop here was the scenery and how well presented the place was - inside and outside in their little yard.

No matter if you're on your way north, or coming back south, this is a great place to stop! The ice tea has always been great! The food hasn't been quite as wonderful as in years past, but still very good and a great place to stop!

We stopped here during a drive from LA to Mammoth Lakes for lunch. Quirky sort of place, food was ok and was glad of the break. Stunning location with mountains to the rear and nice tree cover for parking car. Would stop again if passing.

We drove by the Ranch House dozens of times, and finally stopped to eat. -Good place to stop with RV or trailer, as trees line both sides of road, with wide ample parking in each direction. We had breakfast, and omelettes biscuits and gravy are good - good diner food. Service was good, people nice and friendly, with country and... More

This is a good stop on our way from Southern California to Mammoth. The service was fast and friendly. The food was okay.
