Have always stopped here when visiting Ojai for the fresh produce and delicious pizza and pasta dishes. Our only complaint is that for the past 2 years, the restaurant has restricted patrons to seating outdoors, even though there is a perfectly fine indoor dining room. The outdoor benches are really hard, the nearby road is extremely noisy, and the flies and brutal heat make what used to be a great dining experience unbearable. Open the dining room again! Please! Otherwise, we will probably skip this place during future Ojai visits.

We drove out from the Santa Clarita Valley and enjoyed a pleasant afternoon drive. What a spectacular view of Ojai from the 150 Highway! And just as we entered the valley we stopped at Boccali's for some wine-tasting and delightful pizza. Even though the temperature was only a little less sweltering than at home, it was pleasant on the lawn where the restaurant has set up outdoor seating. The food was delicious, the service was good, and the wines were tasty. We will be back.

We got take out from Boccali's while staying in Ojai! It was absolutely delicious! We enjoyed a combo pizza and Caesar salad. We also got spaghetti and cheese bread that was wonderful. We definitely will be back next time we are in town!

Strawberry shortcake is fabulous! Lasagna dishes and antipasto salad are enough for two to share. Nice wine list, pleasant wait staff, beautiful location.

Our mistake may have been not ordering pizza or the strawberry shortcake, both of which looked great. However, we ordered different pasta dishes and they were OK. The portions were large, but flavor and texture just OK. It's a fun place with a nice casual atmosphere, but probably best for pizza.

the food was great, I had the eggplant lasagna and the strawberry short cake for dessert. unfortunately we had to eat outside in 100 degree weather, since this convid farce is ruining life.

We really enjoyed going to Boccali’s for dinner being able to sit outside and enjoy the weather, letting the kids run around. The pizza was ok but the strawberry shortcake was amazing!!!! Highly recommend that for dessert!

A friend introduced me to this place several years ago. I try to make it a point to go at least once a year.
My friend and I went for lunch and dessert. I had the pizza (a favorite of mine). My friend got the pasta primavera. She didn't like it much. She said the pasta had no flavor. There was a lot of food, so she made it into 3 meals. At home, she added garlic and that made the difference.
Their Strawberry Shortcake is the BOMB! Only available Feb. - Oct.
This time, my friend and I went there for their Apple Crisp. It was awesome.

Although it’s almost November, we were seated outdoors. When the clouds rolled in it got a bit chilly. I was glad I brought my Jacket. We started off with a very generous antipasto and then went into two orders of garlic bread. My son had a medium sized pizza. His wife chose pasta carbonara. I chose pasta Alfredo with shrimp. My grandson had spaghetti with a marinara sauce and shrimp. My granddaughter chose from the children’s menu and had raviolis. We shared a strawberry shortcake that was heaped with luscious strawberries and a huge mound of whipped cream. We brought home all the leftovers to have for dinner!

Half our group went to the Oak one, 20 minutes away. Ok food, and plentiful- we took away enough for another meal.
