Great for breakfast, tremendous for lunch and dinner. Try the Greek omelette and add avocado...one meal to last all day. Portions are huge, and tasty. Salads are very good, as are the Mexican entrees. Give it a try! It'll be one of your regulars too.

We saw this from the road & it looked big enough for our party of 8 that was air conditioned! Food sizes were humongous & everyone was plenty full & happy. The staff were friendly and gave us extra of anything we needed.

My wife and I were in a bit of a rush when we stopped in. It was later in the evening and the place was fairly empty. The menu is huge - almost overwhelming. Pricing is very reasonable. The interior is pretty cool (think retro diner) but could use some updating to brighten it up a bit. Service was super... More

Pit Stop Diner is at a busy corner of Mission Ave and El Camino Real in Oceanside at the corner of a strip mall that houses the Police Dept. Large portions, reasonable prices and cook to order makes it a popular place for almost everyone. You order at the counter and they deliver it to your table. Amid license plates,... More

My husband and I went to The Pit Stop this morning for breakfast. The first thing you notice when you walk in is the 67 car in the middle of the restaurant. As your gaze takes in the restaurant, everything is car oriented...license plates, hub caps, stop lights, gas pumps....the decor is epic. We go to the counter to place... More

Fun place for my kids but the food was not spectacular. I ordered a chili cheese omelette and the chili is too spicy for me. My son ordered french toast and it was really salty tasting but we still go back.

So I put diner into my maps and this was the closest that came up near San Juan Capistrano, Ca. It was difficult to find as it was in a strip mall. The food was fine by nothing spectacular. I would not go again. It is certainly Not what I would call a Diner.

While looking for a place to eat we ran into this place in Oceanside. From the outside it looks very ordinary. Once you walk in you are instantly amazed. It's like walking into a car garage museum. Wall to wall license plates, hub caps on the ceilings, a car inside and old gas pumps in the center of the restaurant.... More

Decor was good but thats it. Girl taking the order was rude. Order a shack but did not get it until after we finished our meal. The owner or manage didn't give us the time of day. And he knew what was going on
