They had a great selection of bottled and on-tap beers. The food was really above average (I had the mac and cheese, with a side of shoestring fries, made perfectly, my partner had a fish sandwich). The bartender was very attentive and made sure we had all the info we needed. They had the Giants game on, but sadly they... More

We hit town and my husband was ready for a good beer and a Tavern after we had been wine tasting for a few days. This place was great. Very personable wait staff, efficient, great recommendations, LOTS OF FOOD. They gave very big portions. Highly recommend!

I ordered a burger and garlic fries. I wish they would have warned me that the garlic would be several cloves of garlic smashed over the fries as the garlic was VERY over powering. The burger was decent but was a little dry. The brioche bun was fantastic. We all ordered water to drink and the waitress brought us tap... More

I'm just learning how to drink beer (too many years with wine) but find this a great neighborhood place to experiment. They've got local and west coast beers, some on tap some in bottles. If on tap, they're cool about offering a taste before you buy a glass. And their food is yummy huge servings. I've been meaning to try... More

I'm still learning to appreciate beer and this is a great place to practice. They had several daily special dishes and a small menu of pub food that was tasty. Neighborhood friendly bar when you enter with a nice pub dining area off to the side. I'll go back!

My boyfriend and I went here during our first trip to Occidental. The bartender/waitress was nice and very attentive to us for lunch and early afternoon drinks. We played a round of dominoes and had some appetizers as well. Thank you!

Great selection of beer. Small and cozy clearly a local hang out. Good service and great food. Best fish and chips my hubby has had in a long time. I had the beef pot roast, comfort food with a healthy twist. Very good. We will happily return.

Local, and always from-scratch, our pub grub is the best in the area. Everything is below 15 dollars, and hand-made; from pub classics to eclectic favorites. We focus on cooking with craft beer, and serve 13 drafts, and 60+ bottles from local and worldwide craft breweries. A small selection of local wines by-the-glass and hand-crafted local ciders are also available. Live music on the weekends!
