This is a funky little bar/restaurant in Bombay Beach California, the lowest altitude city in the Western Hemisphere. Popular with tourists and locals, a very friendly place with no pretensions. One of a kind!

Ski is one, maybe only place left on the Salton Sea. It is consistently delicious all day, everyday. I love the onion rings & beef dip.

If your looking for a quirky place seemingly in the middle of no where, this is the place to be! We rode our scooters out this way having been of the place and weren't disappointed! The staff was great, the food was your typical bar food and the atmosphere was great with a blend of some locals with a mix... More

You're not going to find a lot of choices for places to dine around here. As a matter of fact, I think this is pretty much your only choice. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The food was good and decently priced. So if you're in the area and hungry stop in and give this place a... More

We stopped in after exploring Bombay Beach for a quick bite. Menu is simple, typical bar food, prepared well. But the star of the of the bar is the decor, signed dollar bills adorn the bar everywhere! Plus if you are around when they are raising money for the fire department, ask about the canned fish a**holes. :)

Thought we would stop in for a beer. What a time capsule, dollars all over every surface. Met the owner, what a sweetie. Cold beer, what more can you ask for.

Was passing through and decided here for lunch. My beef dip sandwich was surprisingly flavorful, though the fries were a bit overcooked. My wife enjoyed her Ortega burger and her cousin liked her grilled ham and cheese. It's a husband and wife operation, with him taking orders and serving and her cooking. Decor is what you'd expect for the area.... More

We stopped here because my son had seen it in his video game. The kitchen was not open so we had a drink and signed a bill to add to the collection on the walls. The bartender was happy to chat and answer our questions about the area.

We were staying at the Fountain of Youth RV Park and tried this mom and pop restaurant in Bombay Beach 4 miles away. The food is fair to good and the prices are good, The atmosphere is funky like you would see in the 70's. Not a bad place in a pinch.

Listen, if you're coming out this way you know what the area is like and what to expect. That being said I was greeted by an incredibly friendly owner who proceeded to pour some very generous drinks for my wife and I. Had some very nice conversations about the area with him and a couple other locals. This is a... More
