Vampire Tacos. The name says it all. If that's too scary for you, they've got a lot of other ideas about Mexican food, but created with a unique blending of moderne epiquery & traditional recipes. Very nice bayfront location where you can stare out the window & wonder marvel at the megayachts moored across the channel. Only in Newport Beach.... More

We visited Sol Cocina for lunch today. The view and atmosphere were amazing. The chips and salsa were delicious. The carnitas and grilled tacos were fabulous. The guacamole was the best I have ever had. Highly recommend. Affordable prices. Thank you!!

I booked the patio for a work function and the event could not have went better. Lara is the Event Coordinator and everything was set up just as I'd asked. JC was the waiter and his expertise, food/drink selections, and service was flawless. We started with a round of their Margaritas and an assortment of appetizers like Shrimp Taquitos, Chorizo/Mushrooms,... More

Drinks are much better than the food. The free valet parking and view of the marina are wonderful. Interior is getting worn and dated.

Loved the chips and warm bean dip plus two salsas (one is really tasty) that they bring to your table. Large portions for their taco and burrito plates with delicious innovative sides (spicy slaw, quinoa salad, in addition to yummy beans and red rice)...we tried the fish tacos and the carne asada tacos and both were piled high with fresh... Excellent choice for the family-ages 6 to 71. Happy hour choices we different from normal choices seen at most Mexican restaurants. Definitely want to go back to find some of the other choices. Margaritas were excellent as was special guacamole. Staff gave great service. Had a great view of the marina area. Readily recommend this location.

This place is the best for Mexican food and drinks in the area. We have been for large party for dinner and early for happy hour. The street tacos and shrimp with heads are delish!

This was my husbands and I's favorite restaurant to go to for fish and ceviche. Something has changed. Food was way too salty. Guac, chips, tacos - everything. Oysters were sooo small not worth it. They never have the filleted fish any more when we come. That used to be the reason we came. We won't gamble anymore. Sorry! Bummed!!!!
