Had dinner here with work colleagues on recommendation from one of the guys that had eaten here before. We enjoyed that it was local and off the beaten path- casual and comfortable. I had one (or two...) delicious margaritas, and the waiter helped me to choose a vegetarian meal that could be done vegan. Everyone enjoyed their meal.

Food was good. Ambience was noisy but great. Staff were excellent. Overall great place for Mexican food.

We have been going to Vive Sol for 15 years or so now, pretty much since they opened. The atmosphere is top notch, sort of dark and mysterious. We usually go fairly early to get a choice of tables, as it always fills up. I love the chips and three salsas they serve you as a free appetizer. One is... More

Visited this place for dinner on Friday. The restaurant has a pleasant Mexican/Spanish ambience. Good food and good service 👍. There are a handful of vegetarian options on the menu. We enjoyed the vegetarian burrito 🌯 and the mixed green salad 🥗.and not to forget the sangria. Would definitely recommend this place !

I love this restaurant but haven't been here in maybe 6 months. They do not take reservations and your entire party must be together before they will seat you. The place is hidden foo en Camino next to a little florist. Somewhat dark and very noisy, the food here is wonderful. I usually get the enchilada suiza with green sauce.... More

It's likely you won't notice this restaurant from the street because it's a smaller house that's sort of set back from a busy road. But it's worth looking for. The food is outstanding - authentic Mexican with a good selection of vegetarian options. And the decor feels authentic too given the uniqueness of the building.

Even with reservations it's still hard to get a place to sit as it is quite popular. The margaritas are great as are the sangrias. I highly recommend the prawns and avocado cocktail served with nachos (delicious) and for mains, grandma's special chicken (creamy and tasty) served with rice and beans. Service can be a tad impersonal and slow but... More

After almost 3 months vacation out of America, Mexican food always my first choice, the food is not bad, my server was nice and friendly, but not surprise, still think the price could be little bit lower compare to the food.

Parking is less than ideal, so carpool or grab a ride if possible. It is always delicious. Love going here. Haven't ever had anything bad. The margaritas are good, a little strong but good. The service is very knowledgeable and will gladly make recommendations if you need.

Whenever we go there, we order Margarita, the best I have ever tasted. Also their mole sauce is killer.
