Hard to beat old school Italian and a little hideout of mine. True Italian dining like old San Francisco. When in Mt. Shasta be sure not to miss.

Fabulous! Great food and service. There was a brief delay before we received our menus, but after that the service was prompt and very efficient. The prices were reasonable and the food was very tasty. We are seniors with smaller appetites so we chose the option to share an entree for an extra $4.00. For that, you also get (served... More

Mike and Tony's is a great dinner spot if you enjoy an old-fashioned Italian restaurant that offers full dinners with an antipasto plate and soup. I really liked the minestrone but it was too peppery for my husband who is sensitive to hot foods.Their menu has a good selection of various Italian pastas and meat dishes with most of the... More

I first visited 60 years ago. The menu has expanded. However, I believe the big bowl used to serve the minestroni is the same. Still little room left for my entree when it arrives. Thank you for another trip down memory lane. Leaving another visit on my bucket list!!

The food choices were amazing! We experienced a great meal while enjoying the ambiance with a glass of wine. The server was amazing with her friendliness as she cared for our needs. This place is quite popular and knowing that we got there around 5:30 to be sure we would get a seating without waiting. We were seated in the... More

Just loved this restaurant. A complete surprise at how friendly and delicious it was, since this was a spontaneous "try". I had the eggplant parmigiana sandwich and tossed salad (very tasty) with a Caesar type salad; hubby had Veal Parmigiana which he thought was just ok. Friends had minestrone soup and tortellini and just loved it. So, stick with the... More

This is our second time here. I reviewed them last year around the same time. The service is superb - quick and super friendly. The garlic butter is really great. We had the raviolis which were excellent and the spaghetti with zoom odors sauce. The sauce is really excellent. Great, quiet atmosphere , very relaxing. Great place!

The service at this restaurant was above the bar. There is not much ambiance, however the family style eating was fun and easy. You get all the Caesar salad and minestrone soup that you want and can split plates for light eaters. If there was a downside it was pricey for the atmosphere and the location.

We had heard about the restaurant from a local and it is truly a local's place. We split a meal and they charge $4 for soup, salad, penne in a cream-tomato sauce and antipasto for two - a very good deal. The minestrone was what you'd expect from an Italian family meal, lots of fresh vegetables, good soup broth. The... More
