Good eating here. They have a lime, cilantro, butter sauce that's great. Not a fancy place but good food, friendly service and at the coast.

We stopped for a late lunch/early dinner on a Saturday. we were seated right away. We ordered the deep fired artichokes and they were just okay. Should have ordered the steamed ones. The shrimp in lobster cilantro cream sauce was wonderful except the shrimp were way over cooked. It was served on tempura fried eggplant and rice with guacamole on... More

OMG....The chicken fajitas were amazing....I have to say it was some of the best grilled chicken I have ever had. It was pretty busy on a Saturday night but we were seated very quickly. I loved that they have some live music playing as we walked in. I would come back just for the chicken it was that good.

We were too starving to wait until Santa Cruz while driving back from Big Sur, and we decided to stop here without knowing what to expect. The portions are generous, and the food is delicious. Don't miss the steamed artichoke (amazing with a bit of salsa fresca on it) or the fish tacos. There are a number of daily specials... More

I've driven past this place dozens of times in the 25 years I've lived in Santa Cruz. Last weekend was the first time we stopped and had a late lunch/early dinner. It was fantastic! I had the Philly Steak Burrito and a Cadillac Margarita. The margarita was a bit overpriced but that's understandable given the size. Don't order more than... More

I've driven past this place so often in the years I've lived on the Central Coast and always wanted to try it. Now that I have, I can't wait to return! Colorful decor, easy parking, prices higher than average, but menu items you won't find elsewhere. Both entries were absolutely delicious (Oaxacan tamale in a banana leaf, and Philly Steak... More

We normally stay sort of mainstream when choosing restaurants however we are not disappointed in our decision. Got there before the rush got a fantastic table, service was quick, and the menu had very good selections. The price range is high, but the food was excellent. we had 2-drinks, our main courses, appetizer and the total was $58 for 2-people.... More

Great margaritas and fish tacos! We stayed at the KOA and walked here twice for dinner. The outdoor dining wasn't open to sit at. That was my only negative for the place. A lot of people bring their dogs to Monterey and I am not sure what they do with that. But again, I came back and had to have... More

This seems like a tourist restaurant but the food is excellent and the sauces are subtle and very tasty. The service is much more like fine dining than casual eating, but the atmosphere is comfortable and casual.
