Jose's combines family-style meals with a cafeteria atmosphere. You order your meal and servers bring it to you table. Unlimited chips and a pick-your-own salsa and veggie bar. All you can drink beverage bar...including an awesome selection of Mexican-flavored drinks. Servings were large...menudo and posole were available, but we didn't try any.

My wife & I recently moved into the neighborhood and decided to stop in. You order at the front counter and then find a seat. The staff brings the food to your table. There is a small salsa bar 4 different salsas and unlimited chips. I ordered a Chile Colorado wet burrito with a draft beer. My wife had the... More

We used to live near Jose's on Pigeon Pass, and we ate there frequently. Then we got out of the habit, and it has been years, until last Saturday's lunch. It's just as good as I remembered. I had an enchilada and taco combo, and my husband had a steak quesadilla. I also ordered guacamole. Paired with the salsa bar,... More

Great place to relax with friends, but if there was to much celebration the night before and the need for the best Breakfast of Champions is needed, Joses has the best Menudo.

I've never had a bad experience at Joe's and this time was no exception. My wife loved the tacos without the cheese and I love the enchiladas. The salsa bar and jugos they offer are a nice touch. The place is a little over decorated which is usually a stand out for spotting an Americanized Mexican food joint but the... More

We have been eating at Jose's several times a month for the last 15 years. The food has always been good and in large portions. It is staffed by a friendly crew who quickly get to know their regulars.

We have eaten here hundreds of times since they opened in the 90's!! It is not a fancy place but very comfortable (unless they have their air conditioning on so cold you have to bring an extra sweater!). The food is consistently good love the fajitas, enchiladas, tacos, pueblo burritos, menudo is good, fish tacos -basically everything! The managers and... More

Jose's is just about the worst Mexican food you can get in Moreno Valley. In a city full of them, the best thing you can do is avoid this one at all costs. I went there with my fiancé and we were ecstatic about the endless free chips and salsa, as we love chips and salsa. The food. (I ordered... More

They are open again, if they ever did close. Jose's has improved their menu, decor, service, specials and other components of a decent Mexican-American restaurant. Their ground-beef tacos are locally famous. If you want good, standard Mexi-food for moderate prices and reliable quality, give Jose's a try. They are particularly adept at serving large groups and service is quick. I... More

My husband and I loved going to Jose's. Fresh chips and salsa..mmmm. We went this weekend (6/15/13) and found they had closed down. As usual, Moreno Valley failed to keep a great business going due to low patrinage. : (
