Service on the other hand wasn't. She walked by us twice and we had to ask for water refill. Again ONLY OnES in... More

We stopped here on a whim after ziplining. The service wasn't the greatest as far as waiting for someone to notice us, but the food was really good. Onion rings were perfect!

Hubby brought me for Mother's Day a day early. Mariposa is one of my favorite towns to visit in the Mother Lode. It's also the "Gateway to Yosemite" no matter which direction you take. The restaurant and bar are big. I also noticed at least one banquet room if not two. Very much mountain, rustic décor. But nicely done. We... More

Thank you for rating our establishment. Mariposa is a great little town with much culture to see. This is why we pride our selves on the decor we have chosen for the restaurant. We want to keep it the same type of display as the area. Our cooks work very hard it trying to prepare the best food possible so we... More

I ordered the fried chicken and it was great. My family ordered the fish and chips and country fried steak and everything came out perfect. The salad bar was a little low on lettuce and we had to wait a while for our food, but overall we had a great meal.

This diner is really amazing - great selection of food. The brisket sandwich was amazing and the pancakes were fluffy heaven. The staff were as attentive as they could be considering how busy the place is. I would definitely come back!

Wonton nachos were the bomb but everything else was just ok.Got our salads, appetizer came out just seconds before our meal. After getting our meal, we never saw the server again. We waited and waited. We were there forever waiting for service and the bill. Finally the other waitress brought our bill. Never will we go there again.

I had this place at about average, but my wife high praise of her oriental chicken salad pushes it to a 4. I had the brisket sandwich which was somewhat dry, but the BBQ house bbq sauce compensated for it. My daughter had the kids pizza, which was probably a microwave value pizza at best. My son liked his spaghetti... More

No matter how many times this restaurant changes management and menus, the food is never spectacular. It used to be a mainstay stop and I recall 30 years ago that it was much better but with each new incarnation, it seems to falter on standard menu fare and most recently, last month the only good thing about the meal was...
