This is small place. The food is very tasty and delicious. We like the salsa and chips. Very home made. We had fajitas combo of carne asada and chicken. Plus a wet carne asada burrito with green sauce. Both were very flavorful. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

This was a great dinner. The service was fantastic and the good made me want to go back for more. I wish I had known I could call ahead, but I ordered at the window when we got there and we were headed back to the hotel within 15 minutes. It was a win.

There is a very popular version of El Gringo in Hermosa Beach. This is the other one. The food is quite good. Great chips/salsa, etc.

I find their cooking style to my liking, being starved of Tex-Mex in Australia. This place is handy being close to LAX on Sepulveda and there is easy parking within walking distance.

This is a very small uninviting restaurant BUT the food is great!! We ate there two nights in a row. I had the mahi mahi was my choice both nights. I loved it. Make sure you ask to have jalapeno peppers added.

The service was great, fast and efficient. The food just left a lot to be desired. The chips were okay, not restaurant tortilla chips though. The salsa wasn't bad and they give you lots. The guacamole was cut with something and had little to no flavor. The beans and cheese were dry and not flavorful. The fried fish taco was... More

This place doesn't try anything creative with the menu, but covers all of the basics very well. Portions are large and chips are always fresh. Fish tacos are great as is the solchi soup.

It's a little hole in the wall, but the place is always packed. The food is terrific, but very spicy and hot. Service is quick. There's only about 10 tables in the place, and they're usually full in the evenings. I visit most times I travel out to Manhattan Beach CA on business. Food is reasonably priced, and they serve... This place looks like a tiny hole in the wall, and even has a take-out window in the front but don't be fooled by the tiny interior. The bowling alley kitchen these folks work out of cranks out some of the best Mexican you've ever had. It's fast, inexpensive, and worth the wait in the usually long line outside the... More

Terrific folks here, and they really care, from the cooks to the servers. Some of the best salsa in town, and really good food. Good value for the money. Big portions. Killer burritos, too! Wish they had a full liquor license. Try to go in off hours if you don't want the hassle of sitting next to families of over-indulged,... More
