The indoor coy pool was a bit strange, but was an interesting touch in the no frills space, which looked a bit tired. The food was good, the service was very fast and the menu is extensive. This is a good lunch spot - about $10 per person for lunch.

Old place, but Good food, good ambient. Family restaurant. I had to park on street parking on Sunday lunch because the place was packed.

Located on the edge of Chinatown, this place has been around for a long time and is consistent. I've been coming here for decades and have always enjoyed the dishes here- everything from appetizers, soups to rice plates. They also have a nice selection of drinks too- from traditional french pressed Vietnamese iced coffee to popular boba flavors. Its a... More

This place is amazing. If you like pho, this is the place to go. The #2 is my go to and the egg rolls are pretty awesome too.

Not far away from Dodger Stadium we drove to Pho 87 for dinner. We all had Pho in its various form and it did not disappoint. The clincher was the Thai Iced Tea - the best I had tasted thus far.

I have enjoyed Vietnamese noodles, or Pho, for more than 20 years. I have never found a better place than Pho '87. The broth is perfect. Never greasy, and tasty as hell! You get served nice hot soup right away. The service is friendly and, once you become a regular, you don't even look at the menu. Right now, they... More

My server was very informative on how they prepared the Pho. Just the description alone assured me I was at the right place and I sure was. The Pho was exquisite! bursting with flavor, very reasonable considering the time it takes to make a batch. Overall the food is great and priced just right. It's frequented by cops which in... More

If you're looking at ambience and all that jazz then skip this. But if you are looking for a good bowl of noodle soup then give this a chance. It does look a lil dodgy on the outside but once inside its almost always full. Unpretentious, just all abt the food and quick service. I love pho but not many... More

While waiting during a train layover I went wandering the Chinatown area searching for a nice restaurant. What I found was a lot of small shops and street side vendors. Finally, I stumbled upon PHO 87. From the outside it does not look like much. I approached the door somewhat hesitantly. What encouraged me to go in and eat were... More

I been wanting to try pho for a while, my co-worker is a regular here and she took a group of 4 of us. We got there around 11:35 a.m. on a Wednesday and the place was already busy but luckily we didn't have to wait. When noon rolled around, there was a bit of a line. This was my... More
