Great hole in the wall middle Eastern restaurant that serves large portions. My cousin and I shared the 2 meat combo plate while my hubby ordered the beef shish kabob wrap. For the combo plate we got the beef shish kabob and beef kafta. The plate comes with lettuce, tomatoes and cucumber as well as salad, tahini and hummus. The... More

We visit family monthly in the area and always stop here for food. Grew up stopping here for food. The food is consistent. Excellent hummus! Prefer the beef Kafka plate. Quick, hot food always fresh.

I luv, luv, luv the food at Pita Kitchen. They make their own bread and their pickles are just the best. My favorite dish is the chicken schwarma plate with tabouli and hummous. Soft drinks only.

I've been coming here off and on for several years with my Persian partner. There's no other place that can compete with this essentially hole in the wall restaurant for shawarma, kebab, koobideh, falafel, hummus, salad at these great prices. The place is kind of a hole in the wall and not very big but there is outdoor seating that... More

I was at a meeting in the area and I stumbled upon this place. It was so good I went twice in a week. The portions are huge and very affordable. The first visit I had the shish kabob gyro sandwich and the cucumber salad. This sandwich was giant and had tons of meat. The second visit I had the... More

The food quality is outstanding. One of the best pita and hummus around. Service is friendly and very fast. It gets busy but is worth it.

This is an institution on Van Nuys Blvd near Ventura in Sherman Oaks. Great menu and perfect falafel.

The falafel, beef and chicken kebabs and chicken schwarma are all great. Lamb/beef schwarma (aka gyro) is the weak link. All served choice of pita sand, wrap or plate. Hummus and salads are all solid. Portions are massive; plates (especially when ordered to go) are often enough for two.
