When looking for a place to eat in the Farmers Market we were enticed by the authentic menu and vegetarian selections. It's very casual, more of a takeout counter, but the food is very good. The Gado Gado bowl was a mix of cabbage, green beans, tofu and sprouts with a peanut sauce. Tasty! We also enjoyed the parenta and... More

Visited this place at the Farmers Market in LA. Ordered the Me Goeng (chicken and noodles) which was very nice and tasty. We also ordered two mango juices, which tasted very artificial. Our brief experience of this place was a good one, the food we had was very nice and tasty and the food other people ordered looked very nice.... More

This is one of the few places to find Indonesian food in California. Having grown up in Jakarta I have high standards, and the Banana Leaf doesn't disappoint. The Mee Goreng, Satay and Gado Gado are all excellent and the staff is friendly.

When in the mood for Indonesian food at the Farmer's Marketing in L.A., this is the place I go. Stopped by last night and enjoyed the Nasi Goreng with chicken. Fresh (not fast food), tasty and generous. Fair price for a good meal.

Very delicious soup. Was there with 10 friends. Everyone enjoyed their meals and raved about how good and delicious it was.

The place looked cute and seemed to be very popular. Ordered the chicken laksa and mee goring, both lacked flavour and were very average.

after a while of western food just the smell of singaporean/malay/indian food sets the salivary glands going.. Had the mee goreng and had nasi goreng to go. All were great and if you are hungry do pop by but be prepared for a longish queue.

This food is so-so. Over cooked chicken was disappointing in all our dishes. Bit unexpected. Decent flavours.

If you are looking for some asian food, this is an ok place, however veggie(no meat) options are limited. Pretty much the story in the whole farmers market. Had satay chicken with rice, and veggie noddles. The noddles was a bit cold and there were no veggies in them. The satay chicken was good, needed a little more spice, adding... More
