Sushi Enya is generally regarded as a superior choice if you're in Little Tokyo looking for quality sushi, and I agree. The fish is top-notch, as is the rice (something too few reviews mention, imho). Preparation is quick and expert. We didn't have rolls during our visit, but the ones we saw heading to other tables looked delicious without being... More

This small sushi restaurant was well worth the wait outside in the brisk evening. The greeting was warm and welcoming, and the menu was specific to the fish fresh on the day of our visit. The yuzu roll was sliced in beautiful, thin mouth-sized pieces. Our selection of fish sushi was all cut and presented expertly.

Best sushi bar. We came across this little spot while having visited MOCA. Id happily eat there daily! The sushi is sublime. Service is perfect and the passion with which the food is prepared is second to none. While the food is exceptional, the staff are the best thing about this place. Knowledgeable and easy going, I'd have no qualms... More

Although much of the menu is not traditional, the fish was very fresh, the rolls were unique, delicious, and fun to try. My family and I celebrating my wife's birthday, had a great time and we agreed that we would return.

My wife and 18 year old son were visiting Little Tokyo in Los Angeles and went to Sushi Enya based on other people's reviews. The restaurant was immaculately clean and staff very friendly. We got the last table, which was Japanese style on the floor. We ordered Yellowtail Sashimi, Sushi and Blue Fin Tuna Sushi, and 2 rolls (Lemon and... More

Nice food, Original types of rolls. That clearly use nice fresh fish. Major drawbacks : basic interior decoration and staff, though friendly, really give you the feeling they want you back outside as soon as possible.

Sushi in LA is like deli in New York, so much a part of local habits that you tend to become blasé. Sushi Enya shakes up your stupor with its presentation -- its sushi is served on long thin dishes instead of square plates, so you think you will never finish the gargantuan portions. But the food is so good... More

It was so good I recommend the white tuna and the tuna tartar! If you are a vegan there is also options for you! There is even a protein style sushi.
