Yang Chow is very popular and in the heart of Chinatown. The food is very fresh. For me the issue is the prices as during our visit it was for dinner. Most of the entrees are $15 - $20+. So by the time you cobble...More

One of the best Chinese restaurants anywhere. Slippery Shrimp the most popular dish on the menu; the chef prepares anywhere between 100 and 200 orders per day! The combo of steamed dumplings, szechuan beef, slippery shrimp and string beans with pork was over the top...More

Traveling on business, I enjoyed the beef broccoli; tender, flavorful beef, nicely cooked broccoli (not overcooked, pleasantly crisp). Service was prompt and courteous. I walked from my nearby hotel but there appears to be a large off street parking lot behind the restaurant. Conveniently located...More

We have been here many times and always enjoy it. Sizzling Rice Soup and Kung Pow are Mark's favorite.

My first taste of Chinese food in LA. It's very good and I am a fan of Szechuan food. They do it right here and they have the 'three musketeers lo mien' which is pretty incredible. I'm not a chef but I do like and...More

I have been visiting Yang Chow since 1984. The service is friendly and the food is good. Generous portions. Get's busy, so make reservations.

So we arrive to the area where all the other businesses are already closed down for the night, and there is a crowd outside around Yang Chow. That was a good sign! We did not have reservations, which I suggest. Our wait was around 30...More

Three Ingredients gives you a taste of scallops, shrimp and beef, conversely, the sizzling fish platter is really good. Lived in LA for 30 years, must have gone there well over 100 times.
