So I tried this place with my coworker friend and his wife on a lovely Saturday or maybe it was Sunday. Anywho..we decided to come for brunch. My coworker raved about the crack bacon. Everyone loves bacon, right? Prior to my arrival, I attempted to review the menu so that I would have an idea of what I wanted to... More

Went there with some friends for lunch because it was recommended to try the brunch specials and it did not disappoint. It's small and quaint, makes it feel like eating in someone's home/kitchen which was cool. The food was delicious but the menu isn't that extensive so choices are limited. The service was fast and the staff were friendly, definitely... More

Very good lunch option near Paramount. I recommend the After School Special (grilled cheese with tomato dill soup). Delicious and filling. Laid back, but polite service.

We went for my adult son's birthday breakfast, which means he decided to have lemonade and "crack" bacon. Weirdo. But he loved it and, the one taste of bacon I was allowed, was amazing. It's candied bacon, and incredibly rich, but a decadent delight. I had the breakfast that included scrambled eggs, cooked perfectly, and homestyle potatoes (delicious). It also... More

I had the Mac N Cheese with the cayenne and chicken. The serving is big enough to share, but you are not going to wan to. Best Mac N Cheese I have ever tasted. They have a specialty drink that is really good too.

I held off on reviewing Grub because I would love this to stay the hidden gem that it is. The food is over the top amazing. You don't know what bacon is until you have eaten here. I discovered this place while working at the stages down the way. I cannot say enough good things about this place. You must... More

The food (brunch) tries to be excellent, but in reality when it was served it was average. I wanted to like this more! Crack bacon was tough as it had been pre-cooked and though the taste was there, the texture was not good. Been there twice and had the sme experience. Love the beautiful patio.

This place is set in a residential neighborhood. Just a converted house in the neighborhood.Sometimes parking can be tough. Unique great food. The "crack" bacon is unreal. Fresh blueberry lemonade is a must as is the grilled cheese sandwhich and tomato soup, and the hamburgers. Place is small , so seating fills up fast.

Staying in Hollywood

Neighbourhood Profile
Hollywood
Hollywood undoubtedly conjures up images of movie stars and high-end lifestyles, and to this day, tourists flock here from around the world to see the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame, Chinese Theatre and to catch a glimpse of the famed Hollywood sign up close. Celebrity impersonators and crowds give these areas the feeling of an amusement park while many clubs and hotels fill up around the weekends for late-night partying - the Hollywood club scene is a haven for thumping music and table-side bottle service. But parties aren’t the only way to enjoy this area, many visitors come to the neighborhood to sit back with a picnic to watch a performance at the Hollywood Bowl and those looking to stay fit trek along nature trails in the Hollywood hills and in Griffith Park.
