Indoor and patio dining, valet parking, full bar and breakfast and lunch menu were robust. Sandwiches and salads were excellent! Atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable, plenty of seating and no wait when we were there. Meal was good quality and healthy portions.
We were a party of four for dinner to celebrate a birthday which was noted to the hostess and the waiter in addition to the on line reservation form asking for any specific occasions. Tables are very small and if seated against the wall on the banquet it was extremely cramped. However, the menu is extensive and covers all you... More
Located on Ventura Boulevard in the San Fernando Valley, this is a decent dining option. The food was good but not spectacular. We shared a turkey Burger and it was quite tasty. Our waitress was quite good and periodically checked back to see how we were doing. Valet parking at the weekend costs five dollars. Lunch plus ice tea will... More
Of all the concerns of meeting someone special, being on time, dressing well, fresh breath, and so on, one can eliminate the concern of ambience, service and meal quality by choosing this fine consistent restaurant. It must have great owners that understand even breakfast can be an elegant and enjoyable meal. And they do get it! No matter the generation... More
We were visiting the area and happened to see the Cafe along Ventura. It looked really cute and inviting from the outside and so we made a reservation for the same night. My sister had tacos and I had "Patrick's favorite," fried chicken. Both were excellent, not huge portions. Our wait person was friendly. The interior is brightly lit and... More

And on top of it, the waitress came to our table after dinner to tell us she forgot to add 2 apple juices on our check. ..at which point my... More
I recently visited Marmalade Cafe in Sherman Oaks for Sunday brunch with some friends. This was our first visit. Considering it was Sunday morning, the place was very crowded. Fortunately, We had a reservation. We were seated promptly. The hostess did an excellent job of managing all of the chaos. She told me the non reservation wait time was 45... More
Planned a rehearsal dinner in the private dining area. We had about 20-25 people. No problems, I mean none. From the valet parking to the individualized menus on each place setting. The restaurant worked with us from beginning to end to make sure that all of our needs were met. The food was really good, Great wait staff too!!!
We were here for a Sunday get-together dinner. Recommended by friends. We were happy we came. Restaurant’s setting was simple but decent. Server was pleasant and responsive. We ordered: Calamari ($12.50), Red Wine-Alakai ($36), Lobster & Shrimp Linguine ($20), Pan Roasted Salmon ($21), Lobster rolls ($16), and Garlic Shrimp Linguine ($15.50, half a portion). All very tasty and delicious. Lobster... More
