I sure hope the woman who waited on me wasn't the owner! She was extremely rude. She snarled at me, barked "for here?!" And basically rolled her eyes at me. She took my money and didn't offer a thank you or anything. She slapped the food on the counter and that was that. To top it off, the gyro I... More

Excellent food, right in the middle of the (locally) famous Farmer's Market. A wide selection of Mediterranean main dishes and sides, generous portions well cooked, swift service... this place rocks. And you may have the chance to talk to Moishe himself. I had the lamb kebab, with a piece of pita, grilled tomato and pepper on the side, and two... More

A good sign is when many locals frequent a walk-up eatery. This popular Mid-Eastern stall produces all kinds of freshly prepared kabobs, shawarma, even a succulent half rotisserie chicken plate that is among the best anywhere. Lot’s of vegetarian choices, too. Most meat plates come a pair of sides, pita bread, and a very savory hummus all for less than... More

I just finshed having a chicken shawarma pita at this restaurant in the Farmers Market here in L.A. and I regret it. Firstly, the ladies who work there are miserable. Secondly, I chose this restaurant based on what I saw displayed in the glass counter but as soon as I ordered, they made me pay first AND THEN handed me... More

We split the Vegetable Plate (#5), and it was great! Hummus was smooth, full flavored, but not spicy. It complemented everything on the plate. The dolmas were like none I have ever had... fantastic texture and spiciness. The taboule was SO FRESH it could have been a mouthwash if it didn't have the onions, and the eggplant vegetable salad was... More

I love the chicken shawarma! 2 sides chosen were Fatoush & tabouli for $15 with tax (cash only). Fresh, fast, delicious Greek food before a movie.

The wait was not worth the amount of falafel you get in the sandwich. Somewhat skimpy on the toppings. The service was a bit surly, too.

i wrote an accurate narration of what exactly happened and how staff in this stall behaved to me and other customers but tripadvisor thought it violated their family-friendly guidelines. fyi, the staff in this food stall are not family friendly either - or friendly, period.

Visited Moishe's for thesecond time and the food has always been really tasty. Went for the falafel wrap and it was tasty but expensive at $9. However the staff are so miserable its staggering. Sat on their butts eating and look daggers at you when you want to order some food. You are in a great setting, living the dream... More

It offers homemade Israeli, Syrian, Turkish, Greek, Lebanese and Armenian specialties Salads, sandwiches, falafel, kabobs, rotisserie chicken, grape leaves, hummus. Being a vegetarian I ate the falaffal and veg salad. Little pricy at $14. Falaffal was delicious.
