This is not the healthiest store in LA, but if you're gonna cheat on that diet, Sweet Lady Jane certainly is tempting. The prices are reasonable if the calories are not. It's a great place to experiment......I've yet to find anything I didn't like.

We went to Sweet Lady Jane with my cousin Robin who lives in LA! They knew her by name and made us feel like family. The food was beyond incredible. I live in San Francisco so I am used to delicious baked goods and this was right up there with the absolute best! Don't miss it when you visit LA!

Service is awesome in the small bakery. Breakfast baked goods are fresh and filling. The desserts are to die for. Our family loved everything including the lemon meringue pie and the fresh berry cake. Worth the trip to eat

Visited this place as part of the "Brunch Tour" with LA Cycle Tours. Pancakes were to die for! Unfortunately this tour included so much food, we could only fit in a taste - but they were still delicious! Apparently this is were all the stars go for their wedding cakes ;)

Amazing delicious cakes. Staff is friendly and welcoming. I enjoyed the passion fruit apricot cake...sooooo yummy. The display is so tempting ... They have other treats..pies, brownies ,coffee. I'm definitely going back to try other Flavors. A little pricey if you are on a budget. .. Every bite is worth it. Check it out.

This is my absolute favorite bakery for cakes. I've loved every flavor I've tried and always agonized over cutting into it because they're so beautiful. The flourless chocolate is out of this world. It can cost a pretty penny to buy a whole cake here so they're not for the average birthday bash, but for a special occasion or milestone... More

A nice little cake shop to begin with. Feels very homy, coffee is nice, cake is very good. What impressed me was the treatment of the owner towards us. He is very very friendly, talked to us and ensured that the order is served well. Evwn went as far as giving us many croissants and pastries as complements. Very recommended!!!

I've been to Sweet Lady Jane on countless occasions. Simply stated, it never disappoints. Their sandwiches and salads are excellent and their deserts are beyond compare. In particular, try a slice of their coconut cake. So, if you are looking for a nice and honey place for lunch or a good cup of coffee and a delicious homemade pastry, Sweet... More

Ordered the closest thing to a Fresh Fruit Shortcake for 75 people and it was called a 1/2 sheet cake. However it would have served 125 people as it was a triple layer filled with unsweetened whipped cream and blackberries, raspberries and blueberries with strawberries. The yellow cake itself was light and airy and moist. Covered completely with whipped cream... More

Staying in West Hollywood

Neighbourhood Profile
West Hollywood
For years, West Hollywood has been known as a hub for the LGBT communities in Los Angeles. Today it still maintains the title, but has also become the “it” neighborhood for the entertainment industry’s up-and-comers. Producers, directors, writers and aspiring actors call this area home. Known for great boutique shopping, vintage clothing stores, home décor shops and fitness studios, West Hollywood is a grid of wide boulevards and narrow residential streets. The neighborhood also has a concentration of the most avant-garde restaurants in Los Angeles (rivaled only by the burgeoning restaurant scene Downtown). A trip to the iconic Sunset Strip, with its many clubs, music venues, hotels and flashing lights won’t be forgotten.
