My husband and I attended a private VIP event dinner at AOC for our first time ever at the restaurant (surprisingly). It was wonderful. We first met a friend for drinks in the bar, and the food/snacks/drinks and service were great. Then the event was...More

Enjoyed a family meal at A.O.C. The restaurant is really charming and has a lovely fireplace. I appreciated that it is not loud and you can really enjoy table conversation. Great service starting with the restaurant calling to accommodate our request for a later reservation...More

Food quality was solid. Portions are pretty small and aren’t aligned well with the prices, even for LA. Service was solid. Very pleasant staff and good with recommendations.

Was here for Dine LA event. I shared the tapas plate. We ordered the 3 cheese platter, Spanish Fried Chicken, sea bass, and spicy focaccia sopresseta. The selection of cheese was perfect, one was from a cow (Dutch lady), sheep (camembert), and goat (?). All...More

A.O.C. is quirky enough to be distinctive, small enough to be intimate, and quiet enough you can hear your dining companion speak. Oh! They also serve good food. The range of choices is limited, but the actual dishes are tasty. I usually go at lunch,...More

Gastro but in a chilled and relaxed setting. All the food we had was excellent (though take the advice of your server: the plates really are small, so you'll need to order a decent amount). We sat in the terrace area which was perfect for...More

My son, husband, and I dined here on the eve of New Year's Eve and had an incredible experience. My son chose AOC because it is a wine bar and he is a wine maker in Central California. We walked in to the restaurant and...More

Overpriced $140 4 course meal with tiny portions fo very bad food. I was shocked given AOC's excellent reputation. Clams were bitter due to the badly burned garlic sauce, fish dishes were insipid and over cooked - I give kudos to the desserts which were...More

Very good service, perhaps even a bit too fast, a fireside table on a cold night and five sharing plates left us more than sufficed, in fact rather stuffed!

Very cute restaurant and nice, sensible crowd. bar tender was friendly, port wine was good, all the small plates were delicious, and waiter's suggestion was good. Desert not A.O.C.'s forte

We've MOVED! Our new address is 8700 W. 3rd Street & George Burns Drive. A.O.C. is a small plates restaurant driven by seasonal ingredients, locally sourced. Our California French cuisine was developed by Chef Suzanne Goin, and has some Mediterranean influences as well. We have 24 wines by the glass and 150 bottles to choose from, curated by Caroline Styne, all of which are either organic, biodynamic or sustainable. And now, featuring a full bar with premium spirits and specialty cocktails. Reservations are encouraged.
