I've been there after a morning at Venice beach for a quick lunch. Service is quick and wraps are delicious ! Took the Alvino wraps and it was great : fresh products, warm turkey, nice sauce... perfect lunch before heading back to the beach !

Not fancy, but a lot of character. Small line and service was fast. Great for a couple of hungry tourist that could not get in other places.

As far as lunch places go...it's the place that's closest and most affordable. It's a coffee and sandwich shop...that offers free water. I have nothing bad to say...but nothing exceptional either.

Lady was very rude when I asked the credit card ticket that the cashier check has forgotten. Waited 15 minutes to get it for nothing. She was very happy and made fun of me. This is what I call a very bad service. About the salad, it was a joke. No sauce contrary to what they say. Chicken was not... More

Not the best coffee, but that's not why you come here. When I first moved to Venice in the early 2000s I met several life-long friends here. Tight neighborhood atomsphere. One of the original local hangs, way before AK became the hipster hell it's become.

being a local I visit Abbot's Habit sometime when I am on Abbot's Kinney but I would not recommend to pay a special trip to this place. If you want to bring your lap tap- there is only one outlet in the corner table that it is usually taken. The coffee is average - nothing special and so is the... More

Staying in Venice

Neighbourhood Profile
Venice has always danced to its own beat as the epicenter of bohemian culture in Los Angeles. Along the boardwalk there are street performers and local craftsmen selling their wares. Original paintings, souvenirs, and jewelry are on display. Crowds of visitors marvel at the sites while weightlifting enthusiasts pump iron in plain view, and skateboarders do their tricks around the skate park. All of it happens under the warm California sun with sprawling views of sand and sea. Heading east, the main drags of Abbot Kinney Boulevard and Main Street are lined with boutique shops, some major retail stores, art galleries and restaurants. Here the ambiance is more relaxed and upscale than the frenetic boardwalk area. Venice is a mostly walkable (and certainly bikeable) neighborhood, full of areas to explore.
