We had a late dinner here, we were seated very quickly. The restaurant was very dark, service was slow, food was decent.

I had time before a meeting to go to the buffet at the Brasserie on a recent trip through LAX. I eat there often when I am in town. The food was decent, I love the corned beef hash, a highlight for sure. Something for everyone with plentiful choices. This time though I found that keeping the buffet stocked was... More

Hostess was by the Pool, on her Cell, laughing and IGNORING her guests, waiting to be seated. In the meantime, after a 4+ minute wait and NO acknowledged Me(and 2 other groups were IN LINE too), a Server came over and attempted to seat me in a CROWDED area, with a BABY Crying/Screaming, WHEN...there was a QUIETER and LESS busy... My annual trek to the Sheraton Gateway for a Conference for 5 days found me eating at the Brasserie for 3 meals. Two breakfasts and one dinner in the newly opened lobby bar/restaurant. The breakfasts are always terrific, love the corned beef hash and omelette station. I do miss though the smoked salmon from years' past. The buffet is just... More

I had a late flight out of LAX and wanted to kill time before I left. My co-worker and I picked this place because of its proximity. We also assumed that it would be a decent restaurant since it was within a hotel. The first sign of trouble was that it was not easy to find the restaurant once we... More

Pretty nice food in LA Airport precinct that was not expected. Top front of house and back of house, and excellent service backed up with beautiful foods. Keep up the great food!!

Why, oh why, did the Sheraton replace what was once a light-filled restaurant in the corner closest to and immediately off the entrance foyer with this boring substitute? It is at the end of a long corridor, faced with renovator partitioning, and carpeted with blue-purple swirling motifs and black-painted columns. Admittedly it looks out over the swimming pool, but the... More

Nothing special about the menu, but it's a nice restaurant inside the Sheraton. Service was average and polite. They've got good prime rib evening buffet with self serve salad bar (that's the only buffet option), or you can order off the menu... $30 for highly average lasagne.

Had a nice meal and a few cocktails and service was great! Also, you can easily walk out to the pool area/deck where I finished off a glass of wine.

Unfriendly stuff plus the food is very salty. I didn't expect that a restaurant in a nice hotel will be that bad. I will come back to the hotel when I need to stay near the airport in LA, but I won't eat in Brasserie again.
