If you like "all American" food, this is not for you. They do have one expensive hamburger, but we found the food overpriced and too fussy.

I was in a party of six and we dropped by in the late afternoon of a very hot day after having eaten an early lunch at the food trucks across from LACMA, visited the Petersen Museum, and the La Brea Tar Pits. We had drinks and a couple of snacks. The service was excellent, we enjoyed the drinks, and... More

This is the restaurant at street level at the L.A. County Museum of Art. Seating inside is comfortable on padded, red, wrap-around chairs. Outside seating in Eames style chairs underneath pedestal heaters. Flatware is in a hidden drawer in the table. Suddenly, kitchen towels are the new napkins here as well as at several other L.A. restaurants. Maybe more absorbent... More

We weren't planning on eating at LACMA, but we arrived hungry just before noon and decided to give Ray's a try. Loved sitting in the sun, people watching and eating super pizza! The prices were reasonable as well. Not what we expected at all! The service was pleasant and efficient. Stop in!

Well located at LACMA, we enjoyed sitting in the sun watching the world go by. My prosciutto pizza was delicious as was my wife's eggplant appetizer. Service was friendly though slightly slow at times. The food is expensive, there is an outstanding wine list that was tempting but so dear as to encourage abstinence.

Took lunch before visiting LACMA and was very convenient. Friendly reception staff, good food served. Problems began because only one liter sparkling water bottles at corresponding prices available. Both double shot espresso macchiato came as two cups of hot milk with some coffee taste.Refused to drink them but waittress only took them off the check after we asked her to... More

I found Ray's & Stark Bar while visiting LACMA. The staff were helpful and quick to seat me, it has great views of the LACMA grounds while being peaceful. I ordered the Potato Gnocchi as I didn't want anything heavy while walking around the exhibits which was delicious and decently priced. Recommend!

I had 5 days in L.A. on my own, and found Ray's the first day. Loved the food and the outdoor setting at LA County Museum of Art (LACMA) just PERFECT for a lunch break while visiting the art museum and then again, the next day while visiting the La Brea Tar Pits next door. Loved every item on the... More

Wow. I'm so glad I had lunch here when visiting LACMA. The food was exquisite (an LA take on cioppino), the wine superb (the Miraval rose from the Jolie-Pitt vineyard), and the service wonderful. Since I am a single woman used to eating at great restaurants, I'm always grateful for great service and a good table--and this restaurant did not... More

I rarely walk out of restaurants but I was so mad about how long it took to get a drink I wasn't going to enjoy it. I've been before and service was slow but this was beyond the limits of my patience. We sat down, ordered two drinks and after 15 minutes I walked up to the bar where our... More
